1.) Poch wants them.
2.) Poch would know if they are better
3.) Poch would only want them if they are better.
Conclusion: They are better.

Happy? ;)
Again, I hope you never meet a cult leader
Also, you finished watching highlights of all the 4+ goal wins under Harry yet? :ROFLMAO:

Yet they are playing a CB that limped off injured in the same game (Gabriel). I also find it hard to believe that they are resting him for a Europa League game, that they are 3-0 up on agg, against a kazakhstani team, that they are playing at home.

Or it could, you know, just mean that they don't want to risk his injury getting worse unless they have to. From the looks of it Gabriel wasn't injured today and it's fair to assume Villareal's medical team knows better than most of us on here what condition their players are in.

Like you I don't think they are resting Musacchio for a Europa League game. I just think they don't want to risk his injury getting worse. It's easy to infer that they are resting him because we're going to buy him but I think that train left the station a while ago unfortunately.

on walker:I can't tell you why, put it this way it's something that he is going to live with for the rest of his life.FACT - he wanted to rest it, Tim talked him into playing, Walks should have put his foot down but for any faults he may have he is a team player at the time we had a few really bad results so he played.
HIs injury has not improved through rest as it should have, i can't say too much on the subject but trust me an op on this and we could have a King situation.
medical team tell he should not play, told you all this at the time and walks tell's Tim he is struggling, Tim pressured him till injury got too bad.

on andros/ms: We will only sell if they do.

(lets hope ali is wrong again regarding walker)

Also, with any luck, the new CBs we have coming in will mean a semi-permanent move to RB for Dier, and Naughton can move back to a back-up role.

Psst, Naughton was already back-up. We have that other Kyle mind. ;)

Edit: I saw semi-permanent and didn't realise you put back to back-up. Ignore my slight whisper.

Apparently Walker should be fit in Mid-September. I think Poch would have said something if the injury was that bad. We'll see.

I just hope no one takes the Walker stuff as gospel. Please don't forget to add salt. Imagine what this place will be like if everyone thinks Walker is perma-crocked.

Walker won't be the first player to manage an injury for many years and still be successful, Cashley had years of trouble with his ankle and still maintained his level into his 30s.

Yedlin seriously can't defend, certainly not ready for the PL at this stage
He gets better every game and has massively improved since he came into the league last year. Plus, his pace helps a whole bunch. Also, if he can hold his own on Hazard over an entire game, he'll be just fine.

And IF this thing about Walker is true(lets hope not), we wont have a choice but to bring him over in the January window.

I like Ali Z and I do believe he posts his itk on good faith - but if he posted anything else, we'd be taking it with a whole ton of salt. No reason to think this Walker stuff is any different, even if it does make Tim look bad.

Well, he can probably defend better than Walker, if Walker is still out into January. That was my only point - Yedlin adds depth, not necessarily starting.

I am all on board the Dier train starting at RB until Walker is healthy. Naughton can play in cup and Europa games.

Based on what? Why isn't he ready for the PL?

I have seen him play many times, and he could easily defend in any PL side. To say that he "seriously can't defend" is bullshit, and puts no credibility in our scouting system whatsoever.

He was excellent defending in their game against the Timbers today, did very well against Darlington Nagbe who's just as fast as he is. I agree he's not ready for the PL but he can certainly defend well.
