Its a couple of pages back...he put up a Southampton's fan picture.

I know I've laughed at a few people reading too much into things but I'm about to do the same here...

Maybe its a message thanking the fans in particular - as it was the Club he was pissed off at, not the fans. And that picture is meant to reflect that?

Also would explain why he hasn't removed the original tweet aimed at the Board...

Think I'm on to something to be fair!!

All optimistic again lol
I am a bit worried for you should this transfer not go through by 11pm on Monday. Do you have people you can be around for a few days? Good, kind people, with soft shoulders, who listen...?

This'll have some more twists and turns going into Monday. The word past couple of days was the deal was nearly done, can't see him having such a turn around this quickly.

As has been said elsewhere we're not a club that can just throw 25m at a player without thinking about it seriously. Liverpool, United and Arsenal were all able to bid quickly because they don't have the same restrictions in terms of money that we do.

I think it's therefore unfair to compare our pursuit of Schneiderlin to Liverpool's of Lallana (for example).
Not to mention the fact that Lallana's world cup finished well before Schneiderlins.

Something still doesn't make sense to me. Why would we suddenly stop our interest in Song unless something else had happened?

I doubt the interest was serious, more an enquiry

Levy - How much does Song want?
Agent - £180k a week
Levy - Oh right

I'm not convinced I want MS tbh.

Up front - I've seen little of him.

But Capoue has looked excellent so far. And that's not surprising, because he looked great at the start of last season too before he got injured (does anyone else remember that?)

And last night Sandro looked like being back to the beast we know he can be.

If they both stay fit, I want those two competing for the spot.

Sure - if they both get injured then we're a bit screwed at DM. But Poch isn't stupid - in that circumstance he'd be more likely to play someone like Dier in that position than the ridiculousness that we had last season from Timmeh with Chadli being played in that role (FFS).

And just how many top-choice players can you keep happy for one position? IIUC Capoue hasn't been injury prone generally, and we can expect him to play regularly now he's fit again. You just can't have three 1st choice players for each position - one of them inevitably ends up rotting.

I'd really like to know the opinions of the medics on Sandro. If he's likely to break down again then fair enough. But if he's past it, strong, and unlikely to be out for long periods again (barring Ryan Shawcross/Charlie Adam) then we could spend the cash better elsewhere IMO.
