If we can't sign MS this window, I don't understand why we don't just wait and go back in for him in Jan?

Taider has gone BACK to Italy from Southampton after a 3 weeks. Definitely no MS then...

I obviously hope that Stambouli turns out to be a great player for us, but I get the impression that we may be saving pennies for pound's sake.

Schneiderlin is, by all accounts, the player that Poch wants above all others, yet he has been given someone with no Premier League experience, worth £10m + less. I'm for one, a bit underwhelmed.

If Poch is happy to switch his targets to other players that HE approves of then great. If not, I'm worried that it'll all end in AVB-shaped tears with DL & Baldini providing the wrong tools for the job.

It's completely different to the AVB situation. We've had itk that Poch and Levy sat and discussed player targets and Levy has offered prices above what was agreed. I think Levy has done plenty to get the players that Poch wanted. I'm pleased we're not being held to ransom by Southampton.

Trix on COYS just a bit ago (but admits info is a couple of days old)

He still wants to and his people still pushing. Saints are softening, bit it will be all about the money. I was more confident before yesterday's team sheet was announced. If players don't leave they won't come in either. I'd say i'm at about 70% atm, but I now believe it is more down to us and our issues than it is Southampton's.
