Glad Brenton chose balotelli over countinho. While I do acknowledge that balotell is a good player, he is very off and on. Not to mention it's his first game in a new team. I'd be more worried about countinho who is just constantly dangerous and puts defenders on their heels.

That defense also looks weak! We've got a real good chance of 3 points here.

Here's to putting last season behind us. COYS!

My worry is that Balo usually arrives with a bang and fizzles out as the season goes on. Hopefully he tries to do too much today.

Really happy with both Spurs and Pool teams tbh. Good choice by Poch not to rock the boat.
Away team has several new players in both backline and attack -> they are there for the taking (y)

Balotelli :banhappy:

Their defence has looked suspect for the last few games, let's hope we can keep them quiet enough up front to do some damage of our own.

No Paulinho on the bench. Nobody there other than Kane who can come later on and score if we are behind.

Just incredible.

Its the Liverpool show FFS. I could understand it if this was at Anfield, but seriously what the fuck?

What do you expect? It's liverpool, the greatest club ever to grace this planet.

Looking forward to this.

First real test of how we operate as a whole. As a team. Because 'pool can hurt us in a number of ways, from different areas. So for me it's about how well we back each other up without the ball and execute our attacking play when we do have the ball. If we're a bit wishy-washy in either aspect we'll get torn apart again.

I'm cautiously optimistic.

I seriously cannot stand Brendan Rodgers, has become my least favourite manager in the league, would love to knock him down a peg today.
