He has to be one the biggest gossips in football.
He is a right old lady. Would not want him anywhere near my business.
We can take it that Sandro is injured again! reading between the lines.
Bad business! Harry Redknapp reveals Tottenham lost £5m on Sandro sale
IT’S not often that Tottenham can be accused of bad business, but Queens Park Rangers boss Harry Redknapp has revealed that Daniel Levy may have missed a trick in the sale of Sandro.
The Brazilian international joined Redknapp at Loftus Road for a sizeable £10m shortly before the transfer window slammed shut.
However the veteran English boss claims Russian giants Zenit Saint Petersburg offered at least £4-5m more for the defensive midfidler at the beginning of the summer.
Redknapp said: "I was surprised [that we could sign him], yes. I think Tottenham turned down a big offer from Zenit before the start of the season; four or five million more than we paid for him.
“I couldn't be more pleased to have him, he's a great character, a good lad and I think he'll be a great player for QPR."
Despite his obvious satisfaction in aquring, Redkanpp understands that Sandro needs time to readapt to the pace on the Premier League.
"I don't know long he'll need to be up to full speed.
"But he hadn't played at all and there's nothing like matches, until you get on the pitch you can't bring it all together.
"It's taking on the nerves, the adrenaline, all the training in the world doesn't compensate for playing in 90-minute games, and that's what several of them lacked.
"Sandro will be fitter on Saturday than he was last week and he's going to be a great player for us."
