Are we talking about Harry Kane or Harry the guy who pimped himself for England job whilst managing Spurs, then got QPR relegated with loads of investment and then got thrashed 4-0 a few weeks ago at WHL?Some people on here really need to stop pining for Harry.
But he's the one who selected these players and gave them the instructions!?!?You could see him on the sidelines during the game looking in disbelief at some of the brain dead decisions being made both in defence and attack.
We were so slow and ponderous it was painful to watch...
Exactly. He had a "well wtf are you guys playing at???" look on his face. You could see him on the sidelines during the game looking in disbelief at some of the brain dead decisions being made both in defence and attack.

Surely He has to take part of the blame as well...
Exactly. He had a "well wtf are you guys playing at???" look on his face.
He's on a learning curve with the scope of these players and their inconsistency.
And he can't fix our problems until he actually sees what's at the heart of them and yesterday he got a clear display of the shit mentality that has plagued this team for so long.
He's got a season to sort them out or ship 'em out.
Totally unacceptable display - half-arsed and half-hearted. From his point of view, seen as though it's new to him, he's got to nip it in the bud right now!
Don't disagree with any of that. I think you are spot on. He has a massive job to do, but how have we gone from almost being contenders (somewhere between the Harry and AVB 'eras') to where we are now (i.e. on yesterday's display, in big f@cking trouble)?
By the way, is that what your giving him - a season? Or do you reckon Levy has him on a shorter leash? What's "acceptable" to the board this season? What's acceptable to the fans?
Poor Pochetto; another coach having to put up with the bunch of losers that make up Spurs so-called football team. He just doesn't know what to say any more.Really not a good sign to have the manager accuse the players of a lack of passion only half a dozen games into his time with the club.
And only compounded by some delusional comments about how we deserved to get something from that game.
And making Kaboul captain is another very strange decision.
I really want Poch to succeed but the early signs are slightly worrying. I hope he's not another Santini/Ramos.
This gutless performance had nothing to do with Pooch imo.
The players are just spooked by the take-over talk.
But if they are concerned that Pooch will get the boot under any potential new owners, they are going the right way to ensure he is long gone before that saga concludes.
Don't turn your anger on to the most successful manager Spurs have had since Nicholson. Are we talking about Harry Kane or Harry the guy who pimped himself for England job whilst managing Spurs, then got QPR relegated with loads of investment and then got thrashed 4-0 a few weeks ago at WHL?
I think it will take a season and another summer window for him to have what he wants here. I think Levy will give the season (if he's learned anything he'll give him 3!).
I'm positive poch will sort them out eventually though. If they don't deliver he'll get rid...as long as shinehead doesn't interfere.
I can see Paulinho, Townsend and Lennon on the market in Jan.
We also need to get Yedlin in in jan if poss. Bring through Mason and Ceballos and take a good look at our other fledglings with genuine desire and hunger for the game.
Too many players become comfortable too quickly.
Sherwood, even though unliked by many (including me), was an ass-kicker who got results....do the same Pooch. Now I didn't like the fella by a long shot... but Sherwood said exactly this of this squad about 8 months ago. Unfortunately he was more... erm... frank with his assessment. But essentially the same; not working hard enough, much of a muchness etc etc.
Going to be a long season I'm afraid.
The one whose accountant is called Rosie; not young Citizen Kane. Are we talking about Harry Kane or Harry the guy who pimped himself for England job whilst managing Spurs, then got QPR relegated with loads of investment and then got thrashed 4-0 a few weeks ago at WHL?
