To me the players always the ones letting the team down. Managers come and go but the players are the ones letting the fans down.
Not so much the winning but the perceived effort put (or not) put in.
Really think we are in for a long season this time around.
In total agreement with DB1's post .
So yet another cull of the squad is coming?
Well done Pooch - that really is going to motivate them.
If, like Ramos, he thinks Levy is going to bring in a whole new team in the next few windows, then he will be disappointed. And the squad will mutiny in any case leaving him dangling.
If Pooch wishes to survive, he needs to get to the bottom of why the likes of Soldado, Lamela, Paulinho and now Eriksen are not really firing. Devise a system that suits them. And quickly.
I remain to be convinced that Poch is the real deal, but Levy has painted himself into a corner where he has no choice but to back him. I for one will be joining the 'Levy out' camp if he doesn't.
Irrespective of the style and tactics employed did Sherwood not say the same after the Chel$ea game last season?
I am not condoning either, just saying that what Poch is saying isn't anything really new about certain players at the club.
