agree. at 20 even if he was banging them in i would have to take it with a pinch of salt as that league is so poor but he's not even doing that. i agree it doesnt look like he's gonna make it with us

To think as a winger at 20 Pritchard got 6 goals and more assists in League One and that just secured him a Championship loan. Can't imagine him getting a better loan next year so it's League 2 again if he is lucky at 21. Then it's a long uphill battle from there.

I believe we have a midfield of

----Bentaleb---Mason------
--------------Kane------------

today, in the league let alone against a top PL club, talk about progress. Here's hoping their ability and determination see us through this. I think they are all good enough

Nabil Bentaleb, Ryan Mason and Harry Kane provided Spurs with their best central midfield partnership and performance of the season. Well played to all three of them. COYS!

This week was a great week for the academy. Bentaleb, Kane, Mason all starting in a game of huge importance and playing very well. Winks making his first team debut. Ball and Ceballos making a match day squad. Absoluely great to see. I'd imagine it would give the players and coaches in the academy a huge boost seeing this. Hopefully we see Winks, Ball and Ceballos get significant game time this month and hopefullywe see a few other players making debuts this season.

More importantly Kane, Bentalab and mason have outshone our expencive foreign imports they look technically very good and work really hard which goes to show how good our accademy players really are. I remember watching the next gen and our lads technically where really good and fought really hard and pressed fast in numbers.

My bad never knew Georgiou to have played LB before. Guess provides an additional attacking threat compared to if Amos played there. Thanks SI

Like McEvoy I just don't see him making it with us. While Coulthirst had the added ability of playing on the wing, I think like for Akindayini again the people he played with made him look better than he was. Even when he was playing well the same 5 were the ones that stood out for me. It's a shame I don't like to write off young players but can't see him making it. He is not better than Obika as a striker imho, and Obika is banging them in at League One atm which is good. If he has to go to an easier league than League 2 at 20 then that's not a good sign. Hopefully he proves me wrong of course.

Don't think I've seen Georgiou play LB before either - although imo plenty of wingers can play FB and vice versa, although not necessarily fantastically well. Wonder if Amos has convinced the coaches that he's much better as a CM/DM, has done his time at LB, and deserves the opportunity to play DM.

Whatver the reason, Coulthirst has not excelled for a couple of seasons and would be surprised if that changes (Although I'd love him to prove me wrong), so there is a big age gap in striker production after 21 year old Harry Kane as I'm not convinced by Akindayini either. So ideally we need to find another striker aged 19 ish as Harrison (the next oldest striker) is still only 17. Oh and I agree on

Quite scary, you think that we had a full academy CM/AM 3 today and then you think that Winks and Onomah have big potential not to mention that some of our CM players who aren't as highly rated still could kick on and have big potential as well.

It gets even more crazy when you consider that the players they were keeping out cost the club between £48m and £73m(depends if you include Lamela for AM position)

Lot of hype for Amos before but he seemed to be played out of position due to having so many good players in MF. Good to see he is having a good season in DM.

Not sure if we should buy a 19yo up and comer or a more accomplished 23/24yo. to cover us for a couple years then we can assess how good Harrison is when he is 19

I did see that, another site seemed to indicate he was still with his Romanian club though. I haven't seen anything official mentioned about him since the summer, nor from any of the youth watchers, though I didn't realise he was only 15 and so maybe that's why there is little info as those games U16 they keep pretty quiet.

If he has signed then there is a pretty good chance we will see him in Spurs u18's after Christmas, as we start to blood the u16's - we've already seen 3 of them in u18 squads. But before that there may not be much info - I think we have seen him at Spurs but the sighting was not confirmed.

As @yankspurs said been a great week. Who would have thought 4 years ago we would see a midfield 3 of academy players, who according ot G Nevs dominated Everton's midfield. A top 6 midfield. With potentially even better players ready to come through.

Just need to get Prtichard, Milos and Carroll their chance
