Sooooooooooo IF Tim gets WBA or Newcastle, hopefully gets a good budget so he can "raid" us for Ade, Lennon and Kaboul.

Whaddya say, WBA: Ade + 3 mill for Berahino, Lennon for 6m and Kaboul for 4m?

What do you think WBA are millionaires?

If we called up and said we would send Ade to them they would charge us for him, or any player we would look to sell them....

Coloccini's the favourite for the Newcastle job.

Honestly, my life aim is to give as few fucks as Mike Ashley does. He's almost inspirational.

Perfect job for Sherwood, they only do 6 month contracts, just enough time for him to arrive, tell everyone they're ****s from the chairman, to the players, to the scouts and DOF, complain about johnny foreigner taking jobs, accuse the world of a conspiracy against him and then get the sack.

i love that he doesn't gaf what anyone else thinks, he doesn't care about reputations and egos, he has his own ideas and if the players don't fit that then he has no qualms about using the kids. i think managers have a duty to bring through youngsters but given the short term need for results most managers don't have the bottle, tim does. i think he says so many right things when it comes to football and i think he's great value for the league, he always tells it how it is. i probably couldn't put up with him at spurs but i can admire him from afar, he is a loose cannon and towards the end of last season i think he was beginning to lose the plot but i think he deserves a chance somewhere. i hope he gets the west brom job and i hope he does great.

Do you think he stopped playing Bentaleb last season because he didn't rate him or because he lost his bottle ?

I actually think Tim would do a really good job at Newcastle, I suspect first signing or loan signing would be tom carroll

He is already alot more qualified than Pardew when he got the gig and lets be honest he is a mike ashley kind of guy

Mike Ashley is basically a shit ENIC

ooh, mid-table domino effect.

Didn't Carragher burst out laughing when Sky announced Coloccini could be player-manager? ha. If Timbo is ever to get a Prem job, it's the Newcastle one. He could get the band back together and bring in 'club legend, leik' Les Ferdinand and take Chris Ramsey along with him.

Hope Tim gets a job soon think he could be a good manager in time.
Funny how poch gets praise for bringing in the youth and playing players on merit not reputation and Tim got slaughtered for it

That Newcastle job would be perfect for ol'Timmeh. They've still got some decent players to stay safe from relegation even under a clueless fecker which is great for Ashley. Also Tim's mouthiness and overconfidence will be handy to cover up Ashley's traditional lack of ambition in the eyes of fans. This time it will be just bad luck they didn't make it to the EL, they facking ran around a lot!

West Brom talking to Pulis and Timmy, apparently. No contest, really.

West Brom apparently is another club where the manager/coach doesn't have a massive input in signings. In that case Pulis might not be interested, given what happened at Palace.

Newcastle also have a few decent youngsters in and around the first team picture. If that's his 'thing' in giving youngsters a chance then it would be a good opportunity for him to shape a team, show what he can do and build his CV.

Sherwood turned them down in the summer so why would he take it now.

Its a small club so will suit Pulis better so I hope they hire him and Sherwood holds out for a better job

If Bruce goes to Newcastle, would Hull move for Timmy? Already familiar with a load of ex Spurs lads there etc lol.

SSN reporting that Pulis has demanded full control over signings if he was to go there. I don't think West Brom are in a position to deny him that. Considering what he did for Palace last season there's no better available candidate for them. West Brom simply don't have the individual quality that we have to enable Sherwood to fluke enough wins to keep them up.

What better job do you think he could realistically get? Considering he's had one 6 month spell as a manager at any level. No top half PL team would go for him, so an established PL team, albeit one who regularly fight relegation such as West Brom is about as good as he could hope for with his managerial experience.

Yep I think Sherwood should wait until the Real Madrid job becomes available.
