Can't tell if it was a pen or not but no reason to even give the ref a choice. Very hit and miss when on the ball and very off the pace without it. He's shit.

We have a bench full of average shite too. Can't see us winning it from here.

Never a penalty in my mind.
You can tell 9 times out of 10 by the surrounding player's reactions - No Palace players appealed - ref took too long and Spurs players were just getting on with it.
True - an unnecessary challenge - but that, in itself, does not make it a penalty.
Robbed.

@goughie1966 - not saying it's a pen, just saying that as the ref gave a pen and Stambouli lunged in I was expecting to see a 2nd yellow.

and what use is that?

Soldado was the obvious choice, if not Lennon or Paulinho... bringing on Capoue for Stambouli then yh fair enough, but for an attacking mid is a pants decision.
