The other thing is with our CBs - I do believe Pochettino will play who is playing best - giving everyone the opportunity to earn playing time.

One of the issues last season was how worn down we got as the season progressed because we did not have enough players that Poch trusted. I think we are addressing that in a big way this summer.

Still more work to be done - but a good start.

Dier to be coaxed in to WB training? What were his assist stats last season?

A fantastic 24 hrs for the club and us fans with the bentaleb,TA signing and the NFL/Stadium news has been nothing short of amazing and a real positive.
I can only see a real good vibe around us this season and we may well end suprising one or two.

Just need a couple of more signings in MF and up front to settle the squad more. Then I think we're good to go.

Don't get the excitement about the nfl stuff. Rather have a normal pitch for the sake of a couple of mil per season but looks fantastic otherwise (explain if i've missed a crucial point). Done the Arse on capacity and the victims on kop size. Love it.

Did you look in the New Stadium sub heading??? there's interviews etc in it.
Milos is probably going out on loan - maybe he can find a spot a CM - I don't know.

CCV too young to get games here - he'll either spend the first part of the year in the U21 squad, to be around the first team training, or he is also probably ready for a loan.

Fazio is the wild card here - he could end up with 10-15 games if we see some injuries, otherwise, I think he will be disappointed (absent a crazy move to 3 CBs - which is highly unlikely). But that is a small price to pay imo.

I like Fazio. He's nowhere near as bad as many people think.

Definitely good timing on the plans. Those we've been negotiating with will be swayed if they are up for fulfilling a 4 or 5 year deal.

But dont we have to have a slide away pitch over a nfl pitch? Not sure. If it's only 2 games per year i'd rather have a proper pitch & both play on it. Slide pitch just sounds like cress on a tray to me. Would rather have roots. Weren't the ones in wc japan problematical?

you have missed the point. By being the London home of nfl, which is worth more than the premier league btw, we have just opene up a whole new world of sponsorship for us US tv will be showing games from our stadium. Sponsors will really be wanting to be associated with our club.

Also mean that levy can make a lot of connections.
We have probably jumped to second choice for corpoate boxes after wembley. Demand will be huge.

Within a year of it opening, virtually every sports fan in America will know the name of our stadium and our club.

What do you think is there now? It's partially synthetic and the only difference between now and the n/s is that the entire thing (roots and all) will slide out of the way for the NFL games

hertyid has just said on coys that Fazio is not leaving, so that leaves us with 5 CBs. Why did we sign Wimmer if we were going to get Toby?

Dier's progress will also be halted as he won't get much playing time.
I believe itk has suggested that Wimmer was purchased as an understudy to Vertonghen. As for Dier, he can easily get 20 or more games when you include Europa League and the other cups.
