Everton have always been tricky to deal with so will be very interesting how this pans out....
Still doubt Mirallas as we are not too keen
Schneiderlin was never on this window due to silly price and once Utd flashed their tits
Just 1 cabbage possible now.....the better one

Thanks JJ. Given that, I really hope we have some good McCarthy alternatives at an advanced stage as Everton are likely to be difficult IMO.

Here's hoping MS see's the competition at Utd now and forces the issue somewhat in our favour.....long shot I know.

Surely one of those would be available for the right price? Very unlikely it would come off but I hope we'd put in a cheeky bid for Carrick, he might be well annoyed that they've brought in not one but two expensive new players for him to compete with.

If they go 4-3-3 that's two deep and Carrick, Schweinsteiger won't be full timers. Blind can cover lb and Fellaini can be emergency striker or plan b off the bench. Herrera seems happy.

Would be worth an enquiry though.

Personally Im glad we arent too keen for Mirallas. Good on his day no doubt but not a significant upgrade on Townsend and personally I want someone with pace and unpredictability. We've missed that player to get the fans on their feet and excited.

Was thinking if they wanted to sigh Lennon it might make them more receptive...

But it will depend how much Levy is prepared to shell out of course.

Cheers for jumping in at this sad time JJ. Nice to hear the good cabbage is still in play, had been bugging me!

Here's hoping the lennon sweetener and some histrionics from JM will get Everton to deal.

The fact that they beat us in two games and finished 4 places above us tells you that doesn't it. Like we beat Everton twice and finished 6 places above Everton tells us something about their players.
Come on now BC, there are legitimate reasons not to rate McCarthy, you don't have to resort to that garbage of an argument. As though no players from a worse team have ever improved a better team...

Who is better than Schneiderlin that we've been looking at. Doubt McCarthy is considered better.

Oops doesn't necessarily mean a Schneiderlin is a cabbage. But it sounds like McCarthy is the worse one.

Trix did explain some If his opposite pieces of info (yedlin). Other pieces he is referring to can be guessed at. Lastly, some stories simply come with two versions depending on whom's agenda is being served. I was once told the opposite of Soldado in training, but chose not to give it much weight because the initial source deffo had an agenda to serve. Sure would like this latest Soldado info to be true.
Cheers dude. I typed as I was catching up, then came across the answer a few posts later!
I'm hoping Soldado gets it right too, dunno why but he just seems like a really decent bloke.

Lovely bit of itk and nicely clarified by Trix too, easier to filter down the opinion etc.
A good old fashioned itk-bomb!! :)

McCarthy. Other one was Marallas.

We were never gonna get jiggy wit the schnieder as shinehead didn't wanna make it rain.
What you've said doesn't fit in with A&C saying that one of the cabbages won't happen because we signed TA.
