I haven't followed this cabbage stuff too closely, but was Alderweireld the first cabbage? Not sure if it's been revealed yet as to who it was. Is this 2nd cabbage another CM? You said MS was never going to be likely so I'm assuming he was never a cabbage to begin with.

If the other cabbage is "the better one" is that in reference to ability or having a better chance to sign? Some people are now saying that it refers to Jay Rodriguez, as he's the only one left that is possible to sign from Sotton. I do hope not, as I'd rather we focus on a CM of the Schneiderlin variety. Kramer would be nice.

i think the better cabbage would be Werner, and hence why JJ saying that its still on.

I seem to recall him mentioning that Kramer was looking unlikely...

Surely the better cabbage is the established player and not someone with potential - as that would be an unripe cabbage. I'm now annoyed with myself as I said I wouldn't get dragged into this cabbage nonsense.
