Yep Jasper is on the money with a lot of this. McCarthy stuff is a bit wayward though about price.Regardless of what Martinez says, he wants to come to us and is really keen, that i can guarantee.
Still lots of possibilities up front and all exciting up and coming players plus a few other options. (that basically could cover all players in the world!!)
He's right about agents pushing players to us and also the end of the window events is not what we want and not through our choice its just when the business happens and players become available.
Just because you are not hearing about ITK doesn't mean things aren't moving about.

i love it when jj comes out of his crypt around midnight :ROFLMAO:

hope rabiot's team includes rabiot himself, it would burn my eyes to see him at spam, even for a year long loan.

I'd love us to be audacious and go for someone like William Carvalho, "huge coups on talent alone" would fit this. However, I doubt that would be an easy signing and I'm sure a bigger club will be looking at him soon enough.

I was just going for the Belgian bit of ITK, a forward and Belgian within our transfer target framework (price, age etc) does mean guesses are at least more educated..

Guess with Rabiot our interest is only there if we can make the deal permanent. If PSG are insistent on not selling him he could very well end up at the spammers for a season. Also I think his team is his mum and a few others, so their view is probably his view too.

Good to hear.

Would love a Rabiot/Bentaleb pairing in midfield, although we could do with a more experienced player in there too.

So we could be prepared to pay x amount (quite high) for McCarthy...

Lets be honest, we'll have to pay handsomely for him, we're not going to get him for a knock down price.
