Yes, the missing cryptic had the reveal for cabbage 2 in it but we don't want cabbage talk, I realised, no, remembered that and deleted it.

Now keep it ITK before this gets locked by some complete and utter ****.

It seems to me that we're probably assessing options at the moment rather than doing deals, which the lack of ITK would also suggest

I also think the list of available players is getting shorter so there will be more time taken to asses what we have, what we really need and who we can actually get. Unless a surprise pops up on the market i would assume we wont hear or see much movement until a few friendlies have been played. I hope im wrong, but i just get that feeling.

yep quite obvious that pretty much all our original choices have gone now and there is a period of reassessment going on with regards to the B list .... sadly all very typical tbh

All this vegetable talk has made me look for cryptics in all of A&C's opening posts. I'm addicted and can't stop. For example, this morning, the capital letters in the first part of the post forms the words "HI ROSS". So now, I'm just waiting for the OS to announce the signing of Ross Barkley.

thats simply not true, especially for those we would consider our direct competitors for our stated aim of top 4 - financial restrictions being a reason why but to say we dont take longer than others is just incorrect.
