Love how you say dembelle outright flop when we played our best football last season was when we had him on the pitch and he was easily the best vs male alstars, that mans class just never used correctly, Dempsey siggs too are not great examples when you missed off soldado capoue Paulinho vlad. What some people (for whatever reason) still don't get is that the tongue in cheek stuff, the having a laugh etc etc, is what this thread thrives on. Of course the ITK as well, of course…... but this thread can create a fun atmosphere at times and i've never really had an issue with that kind of thing. Hell, I encourage it, i'm one of the worst for doing it. Who wants to be miserable all the time? I know i'm a Spurs fan but fuck that……….

But when people start talking about Jenas? The merits of Bentaleb/Mason/Walker? Self imposed deadlines to make a signing? The team for our next match? How we played in our last match? And plenty of others things that have or are still currently having the arse discussed out of them in Spurs Chat then we're going to say something, of course we are. We shouldn't have to, people should know by now, but it still happens.

This thread is unique in how its moderated. It has its own set of rules that sets it apart from the rest of SC and if some people just started to use a bit of common sense, it'd be a hell of a lot easier to read, to participate in and to moderate. But as it is its pretty much incessant. Its a shame because that just results in less patience and a more heavy handed approach……...

We did I think, any manager would want players in before the season is about to kick off ( before the adui cup basically) but we also got info saying that some business will be towards the end of the window with the effects of other teams flexing the billionaire owners cash and money they don't have.

The long weekend itk would tie in with the idea we want as much done as early as possible in relation to the season and the return of the main transfer movers and shakers from the US being ready to do business early this week.

A settled sqaud is to be desired, but other teams will still be operating on the understanding that the window is another month (too bloody long), so it might not be our urgency that is lacking, people have to identify replacements for our targets as well.
