The only reason I'm felling a tad more optimistic than previous years, is because JJ has stated we are all going to be happy once the window closes.

Good point, I just hope he's right, things change fast but there's been no sign of bad news from him yet :nailbiting:

You better hold off on placing all your hopes on that comment from jj. Things can change plans can fall through.

Not Poch's fault really

If we were a cricket club, if we bought Joe Root and then sent him out to bat with one hand tied behind his back we can't expect to get the best out of him, give Poch the players he wants and we will see a different brand of football

Is this the handicap the Aussies are asking for, for the last test?

Been a lot of talk regarding Lennon from Ali Z, with some wanting AL to be let back in. We won't know what's gone on, and the lack of shirt number is enough closure, but...

Those that support him, ask yourself this why are so few clubs interested when he is available at a bargain price?

As for other managers he has had isssues with others 2,fact was they were not as strong on certain matters, what ever your view on Poch he believes rightly players need to be fit and behave in a certain manner.

Can't say that I'm fully convinced by the football we play under MP, but I'm impressed by the way he manages the players. Considering went on with Ade/AVB, I think Poch did well to keep that under reasonable control and he humours the media well. IF players are being unprofessional, despite their service, it's about time someone took positive action to kerb it.

Whether we'll still have AL by the end of the window is another question.

I am a poch fan, but I do think Kane saved face for poch, it's easier to drop a tosser like Ade when you have a home grown goal machine. If Kane had not been so good last year there would have been a lot more pressure to play him. One of my mates meets a lot of the players says lennons a prick. To be honest I have be fortunate to meet a lot of the squad but not Lennon or Ade so I should really comment on them, but the rest I have are really good blokes esp the English lads, verts, and Dier. Walker is actually a really nice bloke, which surprised me.

Hmm it is interesting that he only did part of a medical, as it seems to suggest that something has occurred to put a halt to the transfer for a while. I wonder what the cause is?

WBA finding a replacement? If so we should hopefully see some movement soon.

Agreeing a fee? Seems unlikely if he was given permission for a medical.

Berahino wanting to wait to see who else is interested? That would be a shame but not beyond the realms of possibility.

Interesting...

...or the person who saw him, only saw him doing one part of it.

Possibly but that would still leave questions open as to why he hasn't joined yet

Maybe because WBA's replacement wasn't in yet. Rondon.

Although it's strange. Rondon won't be able to play on Monday and if Berahino is about to move, then he might not either. So they will be left with Gnabry and Lambert? Ah maybe that Ideye chap. Plus it's Man City and they are likely to lose anyway.

He may not be able to do a thorough medical till all paperwork is signed. Maybe did a little as a precaution and maybe all wba allowed?

Hopefully that rather than him failing his medical or getting cold feet. That wouldn't be good.
