Werner talk got louder when Njie's possibly signing a new contract did as well, Njie has to have been first choice. Well after Salvio that is.

Been a lot of talk regarding Lennon from Ali Z, with some wanting AL to be let back in. We won't know what's gone on, and the lack of shirt number is enough closure, but...

Those that support him, ask yourself this why are so few clubs interested when he is available at a bargain price?

As for other managers he has had isssues with others 2,fact was they were not as strong on certain matters, what ever your view on Poch he believes rightly players need to be fit and behave in a certain manner.

Can't say that I'm fully convinced by the football we play under MP, but I'm impressed by the way he manages the players. Considering went on with Ade/AVB, I think Poch did well to keep that under reasonable control and he humours the media well. IF players are being unprofessional, despite their service, it's about time someone took positive action to kerb it.

Whether we'll still have AL by the end of the window is another question.

Poch has been in charge of a culture change at Tottenham as well just personnel - trying to ship out footballers without a strong desire to prove themselves and work hard. Gotta say, whilst we may not play scintillating football (yet!), most of our lot play as a much more collective group with determination than those under AVB.

I suspect Lennon will go by the end of the window once Everton / West Ham / Villa decide they want him.

Poch has a ruthless streak, that is well needed with the massive egos at the highest level

Has a touch of Fergie / Wenger about him, cross him and you are toast, no matter how long been there

I am not ITK, but I was at a friends party today, and his father in law is a huge Villa fan. We got to talking about the Adebayor situation, it being off etc etc, then he seemed quite certain that they were in for Lennon instead, got as far as negotiating.
I hadn't seen this in the media at the time, but it seems to have taken off since. Uncertain whether he'd seen it on a Villa ITK forum, potentially. Is it Spurs ITK, debatable, but thought it was on topic.

Berahino ITK is peaking nicely. Seems happening imminently.
As for Werner, think Njie may have moved ahead of him, so may have gone cold.
Think Austin is in the background anytime we want to pull the trigger, if Njie move breaks down.

Personally, I love this culture change that has happened under Poch and if given time ( by the fans mostly) then I can see the scintillating football happening.

Whether it's drinking, smoking cigars, all-night partying, or whatever the hell he's doing that has got the club up in arms, I agree that players like that should be given the cold shoulder. Sends out a terrible message to other players if it's seen to be condoned.

The annoying thing about Pochettino is that he seems to target the right players, deals with trouble makers brilliantly, promotes the youth, and says all the right things to the media...but his brand of football is still as tedious as AVB's right now.

Yet one of main reasons we bought him was the good exciting football his teams play. He needs the right players, every manager does

Not Poch's fault really

If we were a cricket club, if we bought Joe Root and then sent him out to bat with one hand tied behind his back we can't expect to get the best out of him, give Poch the players he wants and we will see a different brand of football

So as not to take this off topic in here I'll quote this post in the ratings thread.
