Nothing really new in that article, but at least it supports what everyone else has said. Sky are disappointingly off the mark these days.

Whatever you think of him he's probably verified this with a source at lyon before posting.

We of all people should realise the success rate of players targeted to players signed is very low...

That the 'selling' club admits the talks is better than what we've got from WBA or Southampton previously.

Oh mate come on, please lol. The guy is terrible...always sits on the fence and is way behind on stuff. What did he say about TA again?

Lyon have already made it public that we're in negotiations havn't they? All the stuff from the French media to. We hardly need his input to confirm we're in negotiations with them.

Fair enough wasn't sure on the French press side of things (although when they link Lloris away every week we assume they know nothing). Way I look at it he denied links to Berahino and Schneiderlin because their clubs told him otherwise, if Lyon say there's talks I'm happy with that.

I'm not saying it's ITK its just further evidence to support that the move is ongoing. Don't see how Lyall does anything different to what Michael Bridge did, Sky probably have a set procedure for these things.

The problem with Lyall is he acts like he knows everything, and I don't just mean about transfers. When he gets something glaringly wrong and it's pointed out he backtracks or deletes his tweets. He words articles so he just appears to sit on the fence all the time, so that when something happens either way he can claim he was right.

People have a go at me for saying stuff etc but at least I stick by it and when I'm wrong, admit I'm wrong.

If he acts like a cock then I could see that pissing people off. Bridge seems a top bloke. To deny that he has no sources is folly however, sounds like he needs to learn that these sources may not always be selling him the whole truth.
