I'm not usually prone to hyperbole (I think...) but the one thing I was almost certain of was that, if we ever lost Kane for huge money, the club would invest heavily in a top replacement (or replacements), knowing the fans would be extremely unhappy at Kane leaving.

Well we have done some decent business but it looks like, as usual, we fall short.
