i think you have misinterpreted my post.

What I mean is that Pritchard is a better alternative to Eriksen than Carroll.
Cheers, thanks for clearing that up, my bad. In that case I give you a nice green tick for your trouble.

Carroll was apparently an extremely prolific striker in our youth team, far more so than Kane ever was, think it's been said he broke records. So I don't agree he's not a goal threat. Someone in the spurs set up considered him so talented they should move him back. Think we have really failed Tommy as a player, he is obviously not made for CM and that's where we put him. Sad, he will show his talent one day and I think it would be as a #10. Form wise in post and pre season he deserved to start ahead of Eriksen for me.

He could of been our Zola :(

I didn't know this. All I know is he was very poor at the U21 WC and Pritchard did much more in a short period of time before injury. I agree we may have let him down with less opportunities back then but I know who I'd back now. Carroll has scored 2 in 17 for the England U21s.

Looking at wikipedia (not the best source I know) it says he signed a pro contract after scoring 10 in 23 games in his last academy season. Kane scored 18 in 22 that year. Ceballos was the next Messi at 7 years old, should we swap him for Carroll with Charlton...

1. Yeah, Chadli does it on occasion - the Chelsea home game, for instance, he was like a monster, constantly in motion, but then whole games he's too static. Such an infuriating guy sometimes.

2. It's a chicken egg thing. Eriksen's shown at Ajax he has vision, and he's talked about having to change his game since he's come here. I really think, with a more classical Dutch system, with pacey runners out wide, he can playmake.

IIRC Eriksen slid Chadli in for at least one of those, possibly the Rose goal.

Just understood this after about 10 reads. Seems other deals will be late if at all. So, as expected.
