Kramer, Bender, Illaramendi

If those are the 3 then I certainly won't be disappointed with any of them.

However slightly concerned that all 3 could be unattainable. So no qualms with the aspiration, just hope we aren't being played.

I think Berahino is a bit of a cert. From his end, everything is sorted-just a few final wranglings and a bit of a show for the WBA fans...

...mingewranglings I assume?

Levy does not take kindly to business being aired in public.

I wonder what his next move will be to regain the upper hand? Maybe a leaked false interest in an alternate striker

Cue for agent Austin!

*sigh*

Do you really think that:

1) this is the place to do this and
2) this hasn't been done to death, buried and cremated, miraculously brought back to life and then done to death another 10 times already?

well you can just delete it if you don't think it belong in here. But we just had info on Saido and A&C said the fee was likely the sticking point and it just feel like such shambolic managment that i had to respond:/

But yeah you are right that similar posts pop up often enough.

I agree. Him refusing to play this weekend and a transfer request would be enough for WBA to say, he didn't want to play for us. I suspect UTD are doing the same with DDG.

Re Berahino and the fee as a sticking point.

It's sickening that we drag this out til the end to save a few millions. Don't Levy see the value in getting in a player for the preseason and letting him know his team and tactics?

Also if you look at the Premier League payout it's stated that finishing 5th give 4 millions more in prize money than finishing 7th. Surely Levy must realize that there even is a chance to make up the difference by simply finishing a position higher? (Not to mention potential CL money).

entering the season with one striker is bad enough, but then Poch proceed and say he had to sub Kane cause he is knackered. So we entered the season with one striker who ALSO is knackered?

We knew all this, and yet here we still are haggling over the fee sigh. Absolutely horrible managment from Levy.

Luckily next June we will get the old "lessons have been learned" though, so its all good! (y)

I don't understand all this budgeting thing Levy does either. Mind you my Mrs won't let me near the family finances :(.

Easiest way to sell at a reduced price without losing face is to turn the fans first. If people think it's the players making the call to to sit out(heads not right) they are very much mistaken(majority of the rime that is).

I've been unable to post in a while - I went down on my wife 2 weeks ago, and I've been wrangling with her minge ever since. I've only just surfaced.

But now I've washed the stickiness off my fingers I can say how good it is to have 2 of the best ITKs as SC residents. The info has been great. Berahino is good, certainly needed but not pant wetting. But if we can get Illaramendi in I would get very excited.

I am the Mingewrangler.

Cabbages………."Two cabbages, one smaller than the other but from the same grocery"

Cabbage = Green for Ireland and Green for Mexico, smaller was 'little pea' same grocery was United.

As revealed previously, the first cabbage was Evans

The second Cabbage was……….Hernandez

I'd like to thank @Rob for putting us all through this lengthy agony View attachment 19820

*Runs away
Put us through all that for fooking Evans and Hernandez? Fuck me

Evans and Hernandez

They're strange targets considering we were apparently 'aiming high' this window. It's like heading to Waitrose for fine piece of fillet steak and thinking sod it, let's go to Aldi instead and buying some cheap rump.

I think we've ignored something here. JJ's last very generous bit of info said that he couldn't help us with our midfield conundrum. We only have one conundrum on the go at the moment, that earlier cryptic. I think JJ was helpfully pointing out to us that the cryptic we've had is about a midfielder...
What was cryptic

Do we really know it's down to Levy haggling?
There has been reports saying Berahino and/or WBA holding up the deal because they want to see if the Manchester clubs wants in. I assume that's the reason for WBA going public with a declined bid also.

Getting deals done early is probably a lot easier for clubs higher up in the food chain. We are not there yet.

It's not really.

It's like heading to Waitrose for a fine piece of fillet steak but knowing the address and opening hours of the Aldi in case you get to the Waitrose and those richer than you have already purchased all of the fillet steak. Because Aldi food is still better than no food.

Evans would have been a joke, but Hernandez has played for Utd and Real Madrid, he's at the very least Lidl Deluxe range.
