I don't get why managers inform the other team who is playing and who isn't 24 hours before a game. It helps them plan ahead. You would never catch Fergie doing it unless it was to deceive

Am taking an Aussie with me on Saturday, his first Prem game and he's promised to be a Spurs fan from now on, poor guy

Love him. His English has improved also?
Best presser/interview yet. Very good English.

This actually shows that he's feinting not understanding stuff and speaking ropey English in a lot of post match interview when he just doesn't want to talk.
Improvement, yes. Still crap English. Just, less crap than a year ago. The acting like he doesn't understand is just some shit from the bull conspiracy. His English is really poor, that's the whole story. On the other hand, his lack of English is not the most important thing, only the results and how the team performs is.

Bit harsh there.

Pity we won't set up to take advantage of their left back situation this weekend, some pace with end product can't come quick enough.

No, I think no. Is lived in the English speaking country I think for 2 and a half year, and so yes, improvement is not fast.

On a serious note, I could name easily a handful of present or past PL managers form non-English speaking countries who I'd say have "good" English. Pochettino is not one of them. He has actually lived in England only 4 months shorter than I have, and I can at least string together a few lies about transfer agendas if need be, without the support of an interpreter (and yes, as you can see from the latest movie, he still relies on a third person to get him out of messiest interview situations).

Well I understood every word he said.

It's not great but it's a lot better. He only seemed to really struggle with the Irish journalist, which is understandable :D

There are some wacky British accents, that's true. But that shouldn't really effect how understandable Pochettino is himself.
Anyway, you know it's bad when people are still clinging on to conspiracy theories about your English.

... to be precise, a Northern Irish, thus a UK, journalist, says I, from Dublin, where the best English is reputed to be spoken!!!(y)
