I'm confident that we've got this, ITK have been confident all summer. I think Spurs recruitment team have back ups on their back ups. I've put on ignore all the slash their wrists posters and SC has become a wonderful happy place ;)

With the stadium, average age of the team I'm looking forward to the title in 2019-2020

The future's bright its Lillywhite :)

I may have remembered this incorrectly, but I recall everyone being really confident and positive just before we signed Dempsey and Dembele, instead of Moutinho and Damiao / Llorente.

I think we'll end up with Berahino and a CM who's good enough to start, and improve the team, but not quite the complete player we've all been hoping for. That almost sounds like a good transfer window overall, but I'm going to predict that Berahino would end up behind Son and N'Jie in the pecking order, and the fans will be crying out for another CM upgrade next summer.

Let's hope I'm just being overly pessimistic in my old age!

We're pretty shit at present. Serious anarchy on the cards.

I appreciate your contribution to the ITK (Yes IT-fucking-K) thread. This was perfectly suited to this thread and nowhere close go being more appicable to the Spurs Chat section on this very forum where people moan endlessly with posts similar to yours.

I hate to be cruel, but posts like yours ruin this thread for the remaining 80-90% that understand it's purpose, and rules.

I think one of the itk's mentioned something about us setting a deadline for the Bera deal.
I think that deadline (which was also agreed on by his agents IIRC) increasingly looks like events since it was set have forced a rethink, at very least that deadline was posturing. Personally I think we get him or we don't, there's no alternative on the cards and the only deadline left in the one everyone else is working to.

Of course, after Jeremy Peace went to War (hehe), the Son stuff happened pretty quickly didn't it? Its also possible that signing Son signalled the end of our interest in Berahino.

Time will tell.

Well Jonathan Pierce seemed to think we have ended our interest in Berahino if you heard his intro on motd last night.

It just dawned on me that it is deadline day tomorrow. Kind of exciting and also super boring because I'll be watching SSN the entire day... Fuck...

Isn't it the 1st as they don't have the last day on a bank holiday?
