Poch's comments about Dier 'excelling' as a DM sound like he's preparing the fans. For no DM. And another 55 goals conceded. With all sorts of hilarious defending tales to tell come the end of the season.

But you never know...!
How can u take a positive comment, and end up with all that negative shit you've just posted?
I'm truly amazed.

I think tomorrow will be the day if anything is to go down, I can't see much happening on Deadline day.

ill be flabbergasted if poch wants to rely on two unknowns in njie and son as back up to kane.
I don't believe he would. He wants a striker; levy wants a striker; WE want a striker. Come Tuesday we'll know!! 'Citing innit... :D

I'd beg to differ.

I think a lot of things will be settled on Monday - but formalities/legals etc mean they will not be announced until Tuesday, deadline day

Yeah I was just thinking that. The deadline is 6pm on Tuesday, normally its 11 isn't it? That's a shorter window to work with on the final day.

I can't believe that Levy would have taken such a hit financially on clearing so many of the fringe players without planning to finish the job by bringing in the starting CM and backup CF we so obviously need.
And I mean that in a positive, I think he'll get the job done sort of way, not a whiny 'what and he done' way.
Son went very much under the radar until the last day or so before signing. Still believe there is stuff ongoing behind the scenes regarding the final two pieces of the puzzle.
Best case, two quality permanent signings, worst case one permanent and one loan to tide us over until the right player becomes available.

How? By taking the sentence that was constructed by Pochettino, interpreting it, extrapolating what it may mean for our transfer window and then typing it out in the forum's interweb space. I'm glad I amazed you. I'll pull some rabbits out from my butthole next just to see your reaction. Thanks for your feedback!

[BTW, I thought Dier played well against Everton (and not too badly vs Leicester), but I fear for our defensive fragility for the coming season given a defender's (Toby's) comments about shielding the defence.]

Technically the window is longer. Should finish tomorrow by rights, but pushed back a day due to bank holiday.

I expect the big (small bald) boss will buy us a striker, probably on transfer deadline day. It might not be who everyone has been expecting, but I pretty certain he will sign someone.

If anyone is coming in from Europe, they will have to be finalized by tomorrow.
