We've tried it and all it does is create confusion.

Anything relevant will go into this thread, the Read Only and the Live Update Ticker thread that will be kept as current as possible with breaking news, ITK and other relevant information.
How do I activate the "Live Update Ticker thread"

Well I was going to donate after the window shut with the pledge money, but I guess I can chuck in an extra tenner now.

Who: Goat
Where: SC
When: A moment ago

Word reached The Goat that South Coast Big Club won't be selling to anyone this window. They've been a resisting pressure from agents and players and have effectively hung up the 'closed for business' sign.

No Wanyama then I guess... Witsel?

Some of the itk is very tasty today. How many SC users are disappearing for a few minutes periodically only to return to loved ones looking vaguely ecstatic or profoundly anxious? I've even volunteered to pick up dog shit in the garden so I can check SC uninterrupted. These transfer windows are like sordid emotional affairs; I'm going to need therapy after tomorrow to get my life back on track

Afternoon slags. There's 20 in from me into a&c's buttplug fund. Love this site and all the freaks who sail in her.

Mystery
ITK

Striker:
We WILL bring in another striker. We are fairly confident of landing Berahino, providing West Brom play ball. They are demanding atleast 25M, but we don't want to go above 20M. We DID enquire about Pato, as is common knowledge he is happy where he is, but if the club did want to sell, we would put a bid in, and he would come to us, no questions asked. Wages would be realistic too.

Don't like the sound of this, a bit "all eggs in one basket" WBA have said time and time again they will not sell, so I just don't see how they can be "confident", especially with the cavert "if WBA play ball" they haven't so far why would that change - I would have liked to have seen talk of at least a back up plan?

Midfield:
The Witsel rumours are exactly that... Rumours. We are interested but haven't made an official approach. Our priority is Wanyama and we are due to able a bid within the next few hours. If this fails and time is pushed, then we will go in for Witsel as a plan b.

Again, this doesn't look good to me - pretty sure Wanyama will not be sold (again said many times). Especially reading the Goats post moments latter "Word reached The Goat that South Coast Big Club won't be selling to anyone this window. They've been a resisting pressure from agents and players and have effectively hung up the 'closed for business' sign.

And Witsel are still only rumours so tough to get done in time without an official approach even being made yet. I was hoping to hear realistic plan B's that want to come to the club, don't think this is one of them.

Outs:
A few teams are interested in taking Lamela on a loan deal with the option to purchase. DL doesn't want to cash in on him as cheaply as he may need do, so is hesitant on pursuing those deals. If we can get a loan deal only with a club which will help his development to raise his price tag, then he will go for it.

Would have liked to hear something, anything on Ade, Lennon or Townsend out - So sounds like these won't be done.

I'm not sure failing to sign a player that the manger clearly likes and rates with a skill set that we require can be described as good news.

True, but how do you know the alternative isnt better and womebody Poch wants more?

JJ's message seems to indicate that we are progressing well in our pursuit of players, so not too fussed about missing out on Wanyama.

Besides, They were never going to sell to us anyways, I think we can safely say we wont be doing business with them for a long while, since the Schneiderlin, Toby episode.

Fuck em. Small time club thinking they are now on the same level with us
