Poch knows Wanyama, Alderweirald has said being behind him (and MS) was key to their defensive record last year. You can see how he could be the manager's plan A for DM.
Witsel as plan B presumably reflects cost and fact that he is not PL proven and will be relatively pricey.
I hope that we buy the player who will improve the squad the best and work best with the manager.
As to strikers: same deal, get the one the manager wants and stop thinking about who will play second fiddle: get a player who will support AND push Kane to improve further.

I just want a goal scoring human up there with/in place of Kane. Austin can score goes. Not first choice, obvz. But he's a cross between a bricklayer and Jermain Defoe, and some bricklayers light up the Sunday league.

Wasn't mystery the ITK who vehemently claimed Bale was staying due to lucrative sponsorship deals etc and disappeared soon after the transfer went through?

i am absolutely dumbfounded if we are even bothering to chase wanyama, they aint selling full fucking stop, stoop chasing players that we've got no chance of buying and concentrate efforts on attainable players especially this late in the window, it beggars fucking belief!!

I thought you said 2 weeks ago that there was no point coming in this thread as we were not going to sign anyone else
