“Go Kane"

If you wanna hang out you've got to take her out.
At The Lane
If you wanna get down, down at the ground.
Go Kane

[Chorus:]
She don't lie, she don't lie, she don't lie;
GO Kane.

If you got bad news, you wanna kick them blues.
Go Kane
When your day is done and you wanna run.
down the Lane.

[Chorus]

If your thing is gone and you wanna ride on.
Go Kane.
Don't forget this fact, you can't get it back.
At the Lane.

[Chorus 2x]

Gala Lala Bingo sounds a million times better.

You know it makes sense. Don't make life too complicated.

Eric was a god on guitar but he wasnt a great songwriter and Jack Bruce was the creative force in Cream as well

Seeing as he's from Walthamstow this is the only song we should sing for him when the transfer window opens

Wow, that really inspired me to be creative and take a random song, add Harry Kane somewhere plus some football references and call it a football chant - how about this:

Well, I stand up next to a mountain goalpost
And I chop it down with the edge of my hand foot
Well, I stand up next to a mountain goalpost
Chop it down with the edge of my hand foot
Well, I pick up all the pieces and make an island cup
Might even raise just a little sand trophy
'Cause I'm a voodoo child Harry Kane
Lord knows I'm a voodoo child Harry Kane

Yep quite right. A God on guitar but didn't write that well. People also forget that Layla was written by Derek and the Dominoes, not Clapton himself.

Massive thanks to EC while with Cream though for pretty much introducing the world to the wah-wah pedal

Yes he has never claimed those songs as his own in any way. Just assumed because of his worldwide stardom. And his upbeat take on After Midnight is fantastic.

I guess JJ is probably quite flattered and is happy that the 'right' people know who did what
