It's great when the camera's actually keep up to date as well.
No 1 keeps going on the blink and reverting to before the near right one was poured.
They do seem to be moving along nicely atm, long may it continue.

What are those rectangular things sticking out from the recent pours? Are they to take the structural supports?

Looks like theyre doing something to the concrete plant on the pitch area today.
yeh it's being moved, heard rumours to the area round the corner, would imagine this due to the piling that's taking place on the pitch area now . More progress ! :)

There's a possibility tonight's news could result in a minor delay to the planning permission being finalised. For those who don't know. Ian Duncan Smith has resigned from his position as Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, supposedly as a result of Chancellor George Osborne's plans to further cut disability benefits in order to raise the threshold at which people have to start paying the higher rate of income tax. This will force at least a minor cabinet reshuffle that could result in Greg Clarke, the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government, being moved elsewhere. If so his replacement would have to acquaint themselves with the plans (which Clarke should already be familiar with) before they decide whether or not to "call in" the proposals for further scrutiny.

Not to worry, Stephen Crabb is the replacement.

Lots of progress. Wonder if we will see any structure popping up soon

The camera angle will be stuffed if we do. Won't see the progress at the other end. As it happens I think it'll be a while yet.

Don't think it matters who the Sec of State is as it will be the Depts officials do all the work and present him/her with a report and their recommendations. The minister usually signs off on these things. Besides, there is a time limit for the Dept in the guise of Sec of State to make a decision to call-in or not. 21 days IIRC. No time limit if he does decide to call it in though.

To give some info about the Secretary of State's powers to call-in the planning decision i.e. make the decision in place of the Local Authority.

This can be done at any time during the planning application process, up to the point at which the local planning authority actually makes the decision.

At present Haringey have confirmed it is mindful to grant the Planning Application and will issue the formal decision when the S106 terms are agreed.

If not agreed by 18th March the Planning Application will go back to the Planning Committee.

Calling-in Planning Applications

"Anyone can ask for a planning application to be called-in. Applicants should give clear reasons why they think that the application should be called-in, including why it is of more than local importance. For further information see the Planning Inspectorate Procedural Guide"

Anyone know where we are the timescale for final planning approval and s106? March 18th seemed to come and go without so much as a whisper...

The S106 states that the Council are covenanted to wait to hear from Sec of State if he will call-in the Application or not. See section 6.1 on page 40 on this link
http://www.planningservices.haringey.gov.uk/portal/servlets/AttachmentShowServlet?ImageName=801101

I understand that he has 21 days to do so on receipt of the documents. The S106 was signed on 5th Mar, so give a few days for receipt of the Docs then add 21 days so say about 30/31 March maximum for him to make a decision.
