I was just responding to has statement on what would happen if Citeh drew with Arsenal and won their last game. You got your math wrong there mate. If city win their last 2 matces they'll be on 70 points.

Last statement wrong. We'll still get CL coz City will be 2nd. But have to face playoff to get into CL proper if we end up 4th, something i wont want.
So at the very least we must get 3rd.
It's all explained here. Have a sit down grab a strong drink and have a read...I'm only going by the media reports which say a Liverpool Europa win means 4th place misses out on the champs league.
No, it's impossible, as both City and Liverpool need to finish outside the Top 4 and win their competitions for 4th to miss out.
How is there still a lack of clarity on this situation?

Just win the next three games and let's see what happens. Quite frankly it would be devastating to allow arsenal to overtake us, even if we do get champions league.
1. If City beat Arsenal, then we need 1 point to more or less claim 3rd spot because of our superior GD.
Yeah that was such an awesome day. The whole match and ice bucket incident. Was a feeling that we'd achieved the impossible. When we got 4th against City I was delirious, today no such feelings which show how far we have come.
Amazing performance and achievement this season. Let's just be proud and happy.
We have lost 4 games all season. We aren't going to Suddenly lose 3 games in a row despite missing Dele.
It is hard to shake the "we are bound to fuck it up" mindset for those of us that have around for a while. Luckily these players do not have that history. I am confident we can get 7 or 9 points from these last 3 games. Won't be enough to win the league but give us the confidence for next season that we can.
It will be interesting to see how the bookies price up next season, i bet they still have City, Chelsea and Arsenal above us in the betting and Liverpool and Utd close.

Right now, City is massively favored to win the league in the latest odds for next season I've seen today (11/8). Chelsea are second favorites (9/2), then Arsenal and United (13/2 and 7/1), then us 5th at 8/1, with Liverpool closely behind at 9/1. Leicester are 33/1. I think there is a big assumption that with the relaxation of FFP and the massive influx of television cash, City, Chelsea, and United could all spend 200-300 million pounds this summer. That heavy spending doesn't always work, but they all will have absolute top managers working for them, so it's fair to expect them to buy at least a few decent players between them..
