Still not beaten them since 19
I agree but I think you are forgetting how young everyone is. Chelsea are all the finished article. they have had years to learn the dark arts - Costa FFS!

Our players (and Poch) will learn from this but we cannot expect our players to be the old enough and experienced enough to deal with this level of pressure. It's games like tonight's that will give us this experience. We will be a better team for this.

I totally expect Poch to bollock everyone and it will be a learning experience for all concerned.

Is anyone now saying "Lads, it's Spurs"? Are they fuck!

Think I agree but I can't get over the fact we still haven't beaten Chelsea at the bridge in our best season and there worst for donkeys.

Hazard taking the ball to the corner in the 89th minute
Chelsea fans singing there's only one Ranieri and celebrating like they won the CL at the end.

Just confirmed how much of an absolute shithouse small time club they are.

I'm embarassed. Our players lost their heads today. And I can't really understand why, since it all escalated after Kanes goal. It would have been more understandable if Chelsea scored the first goal, but they didn't. I'm not so sure we will finish above Arsenal after this. Alli is suspended, Dembele will be suspended, and there's possibility that Lamela will be suspended. Alderweireld will problably be out for the Southampton game. If Arsenal win against Man City away, and we draw or lose against Southampton, I'm not so sure we will finish above them. We have Newcastle away in the last game and Arsenal have Aston Villa at home. It would just be to much for me to handle..

Don't know why you bother to call yourself a Spurs fan I have never seen you write anything positive about our club. I am proud of us this year we have only let ourselves down 3 or 4 times for such a young team that is excellent The pressure they have been under chasing such a large gap to Leicester has been huge and has shown in the last 2 matches. They can hold their heads high and hope fully learn from this experience COYS

Who are you?

It's a very young team, but Dembélé isn't young, he just showed bad judgment. Neither is Vertonghen. I have to think that the pressure of a title race has changed this season's new-found and welcome Spurs willingness to chip and fight and foul when necessary into recklessness and bad temper, because we were collectively very bad boys tonight.

It's remarkable that no one got sent off. No one has, all season. That suggests an element of calculating malice in our play. If you keep that in control it's an asset, but if you start to lose your temper, it rapidly becomes a liability.

The introduction of Hazard changed the game. I've no idea why he didn't start. We could have coped with that, had we kept our collective heads, but instead there were multiple head-bumping sessions, a finger in the eye, numerous scything fouls and OTT dramatics from both teams.

We worked our way into a position to win the match and then let Chelsea's well-practiced gamesmanship provoke us. That's not only immature, it's also bad for our reputation. It's unprofessional.

In terms of the football, had Mason converted a golden chance, we would have gone on to win the game, but in the circumstances, we have to be pleased to have escaped with a draw and with 11 men, sorry, I meant "boys", still on the pitch.

I hope it's an educational experience. It bloody well should be.

Loser mentality. We fucked it up, and we did it against the worst club in the world.

I'm gutted to see us throw it away like that and give Chelsea the chance to lord it over us at home for the 26th season in a row.

If that doesn't bother you then fair enough. I wish I was as sanguine about Spurs as that. Maybe I'll get their one day.

A team in 10th doesnt lord it up over 2nd Spot champions league club. They can celebrate for a week, we have bigger fish to fry.

So, we could potentially against Soton line up as:

--------------------- Lloris
Trippier -- Wimmer -- Vertonghen -- Davies
---------------- Dier ------- Mason
Chadli ------------ Eriksen ------------- Son
----------------------- Kane

Brill
What about Lamela is he suspended?

I think the ref let them foul the shit out of Kane early on and we lost our heads
Oh, I did miss the first ten minutes...

Anyhow, the ref had no choice with any of our fouls... and Dier should def. have had a second yellow.

Oh well, let's just get one more win.

If the game was earlier in the season we would have beaten them, they had a chance to fuck up our slim chance of the title and that fired them up, if the game was 2 months ago they wouldn't have played to that standard.

Title chase was done ages ago get over it.

Just fuming to throw away 2 points after 26 yers without a win there, in that disgraceful manner. Spoilt kids.

If you're referring to us, I don't think that's true at all.

Like others have said, we're a very young and relatively inexperienced team. A game like this one tonight, IMO, is essential in our learning and gaining that experience. I think the players grow from this. And Poch is the best man to lead them!

I like to see a bit of fight but we were two goals up and lost control

Chelsea mugged us in to losing our heads and as a result we fucked up a game we were in complete control of

The Mason chance was a huge moment in the game, he could have wrapped the game up and he basically passed it back to the keeper
