I at least applaud Poch in his interview. His apologies is accepted, and basically said this has made his decision in the summer for in my my opinion 'outs and ins' firmed up.

Szczesny has put a video up on Instagram singing "it's happened again..." or summin'. Now I'm a pretty polite and respectful person, always have a smile on my face etc. But if I ever see Szczesny in person I will not hold back on calling him a massive ****. I always hated him even more than Wiltshere.

Mason, Carrol and Chadli need to be sold. Onomah needs a loan in the championship.

I miss the recent transfer threads that were closed.
Really need to write down the players we should sell (Davies, Mason, Carroll, Chadli etc., Vertonghen if Barcelona are willing to pay good)and how Onomah should spend next season on loan in Sunderland.

I'm normally very level headed but right I'm currently choking on my own bile. If you do have happy clappy comments, right now is not the best time.

At least Poch has admitted they where on holiday, hope they all feel proud of themselves.
Disgusting that he as the manager, gauged that impression.

I would cover the walls of the training ground in tweets and comments from Arsenal fans and other pundits, to show what it fucking means to finish below them again.

I've read 2 pages of this thread and frankly I can't bare to read anymore.

It's not the team that are pathetic. It's not even the performance that was pathetic (disappointing, yes). Nor is finishing below the goons pathetic.

It's half of the whiney, entitled, small minded posters on here that are pathetic.

Man the fuck up and stop embarrassing yourselves and the rest of all Spurs fans.
Bang on the money. You just have to look at who gave you negative reactions and you won't be surprised to see backstabbers like Kingofotters (whose choice of name is interesting if it indicates his/her politics).
People need to to realise that you don't get a special trophy for coming second and that's the small team mentality that Poch is trying to rid us of. I'm glad he met Ferguson now, because he will have learnt a lot about how to rid Spurs of that.

Why do people feel the need to be doing these pep talk posts telling people how to act? Even the manager is publicly apologising for god sake so maybe thsts a slight clue that those angry are justified?

I suggest that the happy clappers can be happy if they wish and the angry ones can be angry. No one is right or wrong so I think everyone should just let people get on with processing this how they want.
I'm not telling people how to act. I'm disagreeing with the overreaction. It was a great season - it was a shit day and people making comments that would be immature in a primary school is embarrassing as a Spurs fan.

I get being angry - but I'm just looking to forget the game as quickly as possible. Being angry about it does not help forget it.

It was an embarrassing performance - but its the players who should be embarrassed, not me.

I just said to someone else I am well pissed off, really I am but at the same time I just think we have punched this year anyway. Seriously how many terrible games have we had this season. Obviously they couldnt have picked a worst time but we have played very well for the most part.

So the pkayers will be gutted, i bet they are distraught seriously. I think we have an honest bunch. They are young and hopefully will come back a lot stronger.

Some comments like players needing to leave etc. Those same players got us to within a few games of a proper title challenge.

Walker being called a lot the past few games. He has been like a different player all season. Doesnt deserve the shit i dont think.

So as i said. Gutted and dont now want to face the usual goon muppets but am very proud of what this team achieved this season even if it has ended poorly.

Ok mr I hate football. We needed just one win in 4 games would do but no we bottled it. We have had 20 years of bloody St Totteringham's day and we could have finally thrown that monkey off our back.

This is less than an hour after the defeat 5-1 no less to a relegated team, what kind of comments did you expect on here, happy everything is fantastic. People love this club, it's hurts right now.

Let the dust settle... We need time to get over this humiliation.

But the team deserves a lot of credit for the work put in this season.

Yes after Chelsea, our heads dropped. Frankly I blame the media for hyping the title challenge. But that's football, the coaching team still has to motivate the players for every match, even thou it doesn't mean as much anymore.

I can't stress this enough. WE FINISH 3RD! Take a deep breath... Newcastle can celebrate the victory. But when the dust settles... They are in the championship, we are in the champions league.

This was evident long before the Chelsea game, the club thinks it can be selective when it comes to having a winning mentality, that it can apply this to some tournaments and not others. The fact that we believe this demonstrates that we don't have this, the fact that it has failed ever major test in the second half of the season shows we don't have this, the fact that when we only need a point against a relegated side but lost 5-1 shows we don't have this. There has to be balance here we have to look at the positives but we have to look at the negatives, if we don't we are destined to make the same mistakes again.

May your balls be ravaged by an unspeakably itchy rash for which there is no relief or cure.

1st post, and I expect to get banned. What a bunch of wankers you spurs fans are. If I said 3rd at the start of the season you would have bit my hand off. This young spurs side have entertained, excited and given you hope of winning the fucking league. they have given everything and now they need your support. FOR FUCKS SAKE, appreciate what they have done this season against experienced pros.

I fucking HATE these types of posts.

Couldn't give a shit about him, he is shit and history will show arsenal finished second to leicester. Lol all that stability and they still couldn't win the league..

we've finished third in a 2 horse race........think about how special you have to be to do that.
Why don't you think about the logic of what you have written? It was a two horse race for first, which you get a trophy for. You don't get anything for the other places. Only Spurs fans on here have a tendency not to appreciate what has been achieved this year, but the rest of the footballing world does.

TBF its no different to people saying our season has been ruined, we're fucked for next season or that this team is no different to other teams of the past. Its just anything positive right now isn't a popular onion, its all doom and gloom, but we'll get over it, we always do and slowly but surely we'll start feeling the positivity again. Its just that right now we don't want to. We want to get it off our chests.

I disagree somewhat. The Villas Boas era really did seem to dent enthusiasm and altered a lot of people's relationship with the game. It seemed we were getting over that and regaining some kind of character. But the way the season played out, with Leicester and the media coverage being so alienating, and now this ending, which turns us into a widely hated laughing stock, should make you think, what's the point?

Most peope will start feeling the positivity again when we make a new signing etc. But some, who were wavering, will likely be done. We've been on an upswing for a long time now but at the same time our hopes have been repeatedly crushed in cruel ways.
