Having a goalkeeper as captain isn't working for me.
Kane would be a good choice in my opinion.
Never say die attitude and spurs through and through.

1st post, and I expect to get banned. What a bunch of wankers you spurs fans are. If I said 3rd at the start of the season you would have bit my hand off. This young spurs side have entertained, excited and given you hope of winning the fucking league. they have given everything and now they need your support. FOR FUCKS SAKE, appreciate what they have done this season against experienced pros.

This Spurs team got one more point than Sherwood did with Paulinho and Chiriches, mate.

Yes, 'the rest of the footballing world' are really queuing round the block to sing our praises right now. We're the top trend on Twitter, and it's consists of 99% of the userbase ripping the fucking piss out of us.

Go and check it out.

The only people who can really take the piss are Arsenal and Leicester. Everyone finished below us.

Not often the SC thread gets it right, and 100 pages of it too, but yup....that was absolute bollox. And though I appreciate MoPo's acknowledgement of that - he should have been stronger with his condemnation of our performances of late and this one in particular.
That said - we have, without a doubt exceeded expectations for the season. And now we move on and build on from what we have learnt this season and especially from these past 4 games....
Our Best starting X1 is pretty damn good.
Our current back ups and alternatives need upgrading big time if we are to step up a level.
If we're to compete at the next level - The Mason's, Bentlaleb's, Omaha's need to be moved on, loaned out etc.
The importance of a player as world class as Dembele - can not be underestimated, overtime we've missed him for a few games this season - and we've always dropped points.
I also think we're stronger with Wimmer at the back instead of Verts.
It's been a crushing end to a great season where we have over-achieved. Let's be grateful for our final position and move forward and get stronger - and I trust MoPo will get us there. COYS!

Downward spiral now after a result like this, mark my words, quote me on it. We won't recover from it, a result like this makes me believe this season has been nothing more than a fluke.

We're all embarrassed by today (and how we've ended the season) but that's a complete overreaction based on the emotion of today.

More like 4-5
I think the last month has shown that.. our full-backs lack a brain under pressure.. no midfield competition.. if Eriksen doesn't deliver we look very ordinary so we need someone to add to what he does & make us tick.. Again having only one striker at the club is criminal..

Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino: "First of all I would like to apologise to our fans, I think they don’t deserve all that happened today on the pitch and I apologise. It was a shame and diffcult to understand

"In the last couple of weeks when you do not play with 100 per cent it is impossible to win games and after Chelsea something happened. We cannot manage games in the right way.

"I am very disappointed because our fans don’t deserve it, it is difficult to go tonight and see my boys and my wife. I think it is unbelievable and we are very disappointed.

"We had the possibility to stay second and how we lost and how we gave to the opponent that is relegated, in the first and second half, they score three goals with 10 players it is the worst day as a manager and I feel very disappointed. We need to be sure that never happens again and need to improve our mentality. We were on holiday and that is the reality."
Wield the axe.

It's hilarious in here sometimes. Grown men having a hissy fit over the prospect of being mocked by somebody else. Grow some balls. It's been a great season and I'm sure as hell not going to let the prospect of being jeered by some idiots ruin it for me!

It's more than that and you know it.

Fucking hell, it's like Rawk on here

Get a grip people, we've finished 3rd with the youngest squad in the Prem. Today's result was disappointing, but it should'nt overshadow what has been a really good season.

Once the Euros have started and all piss taking has ended, the whole season can be put in perspective and big positives will obviously be rightly taken.

However, it won't erase the feeling that despite giving it the 'new Spurs' stuff, the truth is we're the same old fucking Spurs. All potential, talking the talk but failing to walk the walk when needed.

People on here often ask the question as to why we are so hated by other fans and this is a big part of it. They see us as big time Charlie's who crow about ourselves before we've actually really achieved anything and they're correct.

When really tested this season we have failed to respond. Everyone was so pleased that we'd kicked the shit out of Chelsea, but I wasn't. Yeah it was funny, but a display of a team that lost the plot when in a commanding position to win a crucial game.

I've no doubt in my mind that if we were in Leicester's position we'd have fucked it. It's in our DNA

frustrating that Nabil, Mason and Tommy couldn't cover the few games where we needed them.

I wonder whether it actually matters what we do any more? Spend big, spend nothing, change the formation, don't change the formation, keep the manager, lose the manager, score the most goals, let the least amount of goals in... etc. etc. Destiny's a bitch. ;)

He is spot on, glad there are no patronising platitudes in there and I suspect some players will not have done themselves any favours with poch the last few weeks
I can see him been ruthless in culling players.. I don't think he does sentiment.. I've a feeling Walker is done for
