To anyone who is now out, if you have CL tickets I'll take them off your hands, I don't mind watching Spurs in the CL without a £50 million superstar.

This is why waiting until the last day can fuck you. I know, deals can be had and all that nonsense, but it's just the same story more often than not; we simply miss out on players we will most likely need.

That's us done then in regards the first 11, disappointing. If we wanted a player like Isco and had the money to make a play for him and also Sissoko, then surely there must have been another top bracket player that could play in that CAM3 that we could have gone for with CL footy, a make the difference, boost to the team player... It all seems odd...

Most of our transfer windows end up feeling odd. It's probably why Paul Mitchell wants out.

I don't blame levy for paying 30m. But I sure as hell blame him for once again taking risks and not identifying a cheaper option sooner

hertyid on sisoko: Apparently after out initial enquiry it was a case of "30m? No thanks."

We definitely didn't bid anywhere near that amount.

Nor should we, he ain't what we need and at this price pure folly.

I'm happy with the squad and if the N'Kandou fella can beat a man or 2 we'll be fine.

Levy would go into Poundland and try to haggle.

In this instance though, I'm relieved he didn't go anywhere near £30m

We are around $13 million in profits when Townsend's sale is included. That's probably the most they will bid on anyone because otherwise the net spend is no longer 0.

Feel bad for Poch. If he didn't want anyone else or truly was happy with the squad, why on earth would he say anything about bringing in more players at his press conference and specifically mention a player like Mane? That would likely be the only way to put pressure on Levy to get some players in. Unfortunately, Levy really doesn't care and it looks like another manager has not really been backed as he should be. Wonderful.
