Not my 30m, I don't give a fuck how much the club spent. Happy we got some depth back in the end.

Also now that he's a yid we all should quit contributing to the shit-talking circle jerk. Players read what us fans say about them on the Internet. If he thinks we hate him before he even plays his first game it could only hurt the chances of him succeeding.

Wanyama better than Bentaleb
Sissoko better than Mason
Janssen a better fit than Chadli
Lopez could be better than McGee
GK better than Pritchard

Upgraded our squad, given manager more options and are players the manager wanted.

It's good, can't say I'm disappointed with that (although I'm not a Sissoko fan so will have to wait and see on that one). Just can't help feel that we needed to upgrade on our first XI a little as well. It's a shame Isco was a no go because he would have been perfect. We have got good attacking mid options but none of them are on that level. Their job is to create chances as well as contribute with a few goals, and I just can't help feel we need something a little better there. Being that it's a CL year I feel we should've looked to make that happen.

Anyone who is complaining about the 30m spent on Sissoko, who also complains about Levy being a tight-ass need to look at themselves in the mirror.

Stepped away from all this for a few hours, expecting us to have signed no one, come back to find we signed Sissoko, who I thought was confirmed with Everton. It's nice to see us shaft another club in the market.

I can't i broke it last time i looked in it:ROFLMAO:

only thing I'm gutted about the Sissoko deal is the cost, plus not forgiven him for that dive in the 5-1 loss:whistle:

Let's hope that a few months on Madrid's bench between now and Christmas and a good run from us makes him reconsider his decision.

He'll get his agent to sort him out a move to Spurs only to find we don't have the money for him because we spent it all on Sissoko...

There's a buy clause in there that we can trigger or gets automatically triggered after a few (5?) appearances
Well if all goes to plan he won't even make 1 first team appearance. I guess if he impresses Jimenez in training then we'd trigger the option?

An Isco type plsyer may be needed. But we'll probably be too busy trying to negotiate for Berahino... he'll only have 6 months left... surprised he didn't come into it this year. Freebie next year?

Only thing I'm really bummed about is we didn't add a central playmaker. Coric, Isco or Malli would have been varying degrees of fantastic.

Goes both ways though. Anyone who were ridiculing fans for wanting to get Batshit for 30M+ and who now thinks Sissoko makes perfect sense regardless of cost ...

Bloody Hell.

Just finally got to the end of the thread. I worked from home today to treat myself and have a whole deadline day to enjoy.

I have read every single post in this thread today and probably half the player threads too.

What a great day for SC. Smooth as silk, the best ITK's (no-one beats @JJetset and @Trix ), the best whores (@dovahkiin ), the best posters, the best spammers (@THFCSPURS19 I love you really), the best admins by a country fucking mile (@Archibald&Crooks and @Rob in particular I don't know how you do it every year), all on not just the best Spurs forum, but surely the best football forum on the net. I've never found anywhere like it, not even close.

Whilst I might be slightly underwhelmed by Sissoko it was a classic deadline day for a massive last minute Levy special signing as well as a couple of others, loads of behind the scenes info, and all viewed on a perfectly stable site with thousands of other Yids all as gullible, cynical, stupid, delighted, raging and well informed as me, and all enjoying it.

What a great day. Bed now. Night night you wonderful bunch of ****s.
