Isco and James must be on a helicopter somewhere. Hopefully we got the deal sheet signed.

Maybe Madrid wanted us to buy Sissoko to swap with them in January, they couldn't be seen buying from a championship club.

Seriously though happy we have some squad depth but £30m for someone who i dont see as first team is weird. But hey, if poch wanted him then thats fine with me.

Decent window. Any complaining posts I've made were slightly tongue in cheek. We did our important business at the start of the TW. In this era it is so hard to upgrade such a very solid starting XI that we have. The only really proven top class player that we had any chance of signing we apparently went all out for and would've gladly paid the fee. Sadly, he chose to remain at Madrid. If we have another great season I think we'd be finally be able pry those types of players without it being some kind of deadline day VDV anamoly. As it stands though we are still an unknown quantity.


All up to Poch now. I believe he's been backed to the best of our ability and effort in the TW.

again - just getting to this post and I still have no idea what has officially happened, but didn't we pay 22m+ for Son, who is currently, and was for most of last season, a bench player?
