How very dare he?

Fair enough in dismissing our chances but at least give a reason. Wasn't he supposed to be a fan when he was a younger? Although I suppose if he has felt let down by our lack of recent success it may be that he just simply doesn't believe.Roy Keane has dismissed Tottenham’s chances of Premier League title glory, saying Mauricio Pochettino’s men have “no chance” despite their unbeaten start to the season.
Spurs find themselves third and only one point off leaders Manchester City having started the new campaign well with five wins and three draws from their opening eight matches.
Pochettino’s side haven’t won the league title since 1961 but their unbeaten start to the season has had some pundits wondering whether it could be their year.
However, former Manchester United midfielder Keane doesn’t rate the north Londoners’ chances of lifting the title come May.
”It’s in their own hands, (Qualifying for Champions League knock out stages) but this idea the can they can win the Premier League, I think no chance,” Keane told ITV.
Despite not being convinced by their Premier League credentials, Keane thinks Tottenham need to start winning trophies to progress further as a club.
“I don’t care, I can’t see them winning the Premier League, but they are progressing really well as a football club. It’s now about getting their hands on a trophy, what I mean is the FA Cup or League cup,” the Irishman added.

Interestingly, in the 38 games since klopp took over we would be champions. Its very much like Leicester, theyre form didnt start last year it started with 10 games to go the season before. We arent a flash in the pan, we have the form, the experience and the squad to win the league. Ultimately, our rivals all have to play better than we do to win games due to our defense.
I translated this part using Google...Paul Merson's insight....
Talking on the Sky Sports website, Merson said, “Bournemouth are playing very well, I watched them last week. Spurs had a tough game in midweek and it might catch up with them for the early Saturday kick-off.
“I know they got beaten 5-1 last year, but it will be different for Bournemouth.
“I’ve been impressed with Spurs, even when they don’t play well they get a result. They’re undefeated, and when they go 1-0 down late on against West Brom, they fight back for a result.
“But I can see a draw here, which would be a superb result for an ever-improving Bournemouth side under Eddie Howe.”

"I haven't been paying attention much but in the first Bournemouth game I have seen this season, they beat a very poor Hull side, so despite Spurs putting 8 past them in 2 games last season and Bournemouth losing heavily to both Manchester teams this season, I think the one result against Hull signifies a change in fortunes, so I am going for a draw."

like it or hate it Keane is right to dismiss us, although not as easily as we have been in past. We have no significant recent history, outside of last year, in challenging for titles or really for any cups. Even last year when incredibly well positioned we folded like a cheap suit. The negative statements are well founded ...... until we actually win something
Just speaking for myself, obviously, but I don't have any issue with pundits or other fans or what have you not really considering us as a title threat but to say "no chance" is a bit stupid, not only when you consider last season but looking at this season as well. I know it's early days but but we're almost a quarter of the way through and we're unbeaten and right up there.
I agree with you completely. The only caveat would be to see where we are after the really tough November we have. Then we'll have a better idea if we've got what it takes, both physically and mentally, to be in with a shout at the business end of the season.
