I don't know if you could see it on TV but when we had the penalty he was going round and jeering up the crowd, was pretty cool. He completely changed the game for us and got a lot of stick from people around me for trying to actually beat his man and play forwards but it worked out in the end.

To me (and I'm generalising here).....Son is crap when you expect him to have a good game and vice versa. Still a bit of an enigma.

I've always been a massive fan of his but he does really to start pulling his finger out of his arse otherwise would be looking to replace in summer.

We need decent quality wing players as badly lacking in this area.

Really? He won player of the month for the whole league. He has been rested a few times after extensive travelling for international breaks.

He;s one of the players I'm really happy with. Certainly nowhere near wanting a replacement.

His movement is superb and he can obviously be a goal threat. However, he's extremely inconsistent, and for an international footballer his first touch is appalling.

Moves tend to break down with him... He also loses the ball far too much for me.

He strikes me as a streaky player otherwise he is shit in between the streaks.

He's a player who makes all the right decisions but his technique is so poor at times. His first touch is absolutely atrocious.

He should be a squad player not a starter. He is versatile and energetic which is great for coming off the bench but as a starter he is far too much of a mess. He is horrendously inconsistent, but that has always been the case as most would agree who watched him whilst in Germany.

this thread is as up and down as son is. one week he's a squad player only, the next he has to start when fit. just accept that you have to take the rough with the smooth with this guy, some weeks he's a 5, others he's a 9. we can't attract a consistent 9, we might be able to find a consistent 7 although that's hardly guaranteed given our recent track record and we probably have enough players that hover around that level already anyway.

Not actually a bad thing to have a player like that in the squad. Can't be relying on them though.

He is a coward amd I would like to see him sold asap

Not since Darren Bent played for us have I seen a spurs player work so hard on avoiding all and any physical contact.

I do not care if he scores a screamer next week, as he does once every 6 games or so. Not good enough for our ambition and has a poor attitude

Oh god I'd forgotten the jump over cech, against Monaco he messed up the 1 on 1 because he decided to go around the keeper but then shit himself as the keeper dived towards him

As I say he is a coward and should not be allowed to wear our shirt
