P.S Victor Wanyama is a fucking God. A cross between Roy Keane, Patrick Vieria and an angry bear.

Made me chuckle, early on when we started pressing, he looked about half a yard off the pace, kept getting caught in possession but getting the ball to a teammate all the same and he looked pretty pissed about it. Then, about 20 minutes in, his expression changed - i'm assuming this was his beast-gland activating, cos seconds later and he'd freightrained a blue into the dirt like a boss and it just didn't stop. He forced them to start playing out to the flanks as he stalked the middle. Was a real dominant display, bloody loved it.

Revenge is so sweet!! Brilliant performance all round, only Harry was a bit off colour. Wanyama was absolutely immense! MOTM for me

Not much talk about him but Eriksen has really stepped up over the Christmas period. Really think he's been getting on the ball and being creative, but also working hard off the ball. In the 93rd minute today he was still sprinting to close down defenders and angles, I know he's weak in the tackle but I don't mind that one bit as his workrate is very high.

Wayama was absolutely amazing today. Dele will get the plaudits but holy shit he was a beast. What a great signing he was.
£11m. Ridiculous.

Scary how easy we made that look, and how ordinary we made an outstanding Chelsea team look.

We've looked fairly ordinary ourselves for a good portion of the season, but we're really coming into form now. Every player looks in tip top shape, and like they're ready to give everything for the shirt.

All credit to Poch. I've never seen such an impressive Spurs team in my life time.

P.S Victor Wanyama is a fucking God. A cross between Roy Keane, Patrick Vieria and an angry bear.
Didn't Guardiola used to run Barcelona's training in cycles so that they peaked at the key stages of the season? Given that we've only really got going around Christmas for 2 seasons in a row now, I wonder whether Poch is implementing something similar.

Totally disagree, defensively it doesn't get much better, we totally shut down Chelsea bar the early hazard miss. That is absolutely brilliant!! Then dele and eriksen combined to punch Chelsea in their big Fay noses, have some of that!! Wonderful performance.

I agree we did defend well against a very good in form team but I don't think we absolutely thrashed them which seems to be the general opinion on here. We had two chances and took them.

Maybe I'm just being a boring prick but I think we shouldn't shout about it too much and concentrate on the next games.

WTF! We win and the closing feature shows the chavs winning run, with a couple of seconds for Alli's goals.

Those ****s had the closing titles all set up in the EXPECTATION that the scum would win.

Wankers!

You get the feeling that if we weren't in 3rd right now, Souness wouldn't be including us in the 'race for the title' talk.

Superb perfomance! Alli is getting better and better with each game! Wannama was brilliant as well. Great assists by Eriksen. Just love beating the plastic chavs!

That was for rooting against us last season when you were out of it
That was for celebrating against us in May as if you yourself had won the title
That was for all the lucky breaks you get every season
That was for the dirty gamesmanship you always resort to when chasing a game
That was for having a team full of bullies who love diving & whining at referees
That was for having the 4 most slappable faces in the league in Costa, Hazard, Fabregas and Willian
That was for appointing a racist thug as your captain
That was for every team who doesn't have a rich billionaire backer
That was for the rest of the top 6
That was for the rest of the league who couldn't stand to watch you go to 14 games
And most importantly, that was for all us Spurs fans out there

14 game winning streak? You're having a laugh. Not in White Hart Lane.

Believe, together THFC. COYS!!!

Our next game in the prem is West Brom, early kick off as well which will have an impact after our cup game. Now traditionally this is the sort of game we would normally either draw or lose and add to that Brom are a bit of a bogey team for us.

I feel like this time around we are really going to make a statement against West Brom, especially considering after the City game early in the season we went on a bit of a bad run and I think that will be fresh in the players and managers mind.
