Which is all the time one of our rivals play and there's an element of controversy in the match, it's tiresome.

Quite what you thought of Walker's push on Sterling yesterday, a decision which wasn't given in our favour, conspiracy as well I'd imagine?

I thought it was a poor decision, I even said that in the thread that I thought the ref was incompetent, at first I actually didn't think the challenge was a penalty but after seeing the replay I thought it was.

Yesterday's game against City is a prime example of why things need to be discussed.

Right but not a conspiracy as it favours Spurs though right?

Penalty or not I've no sympathy for Burnley who turn up to every away ground simply hoping to come out of it alive. Which in football terms is not to get thrashed. Straight from the David Moyes School of Management.

One point on the road is utterly shameful. That came in the 0-0 at Utd where they had 37 shots at their goal.

Sean Dyche wonders why he doesn't get the respect Eddie Howe does. It's because he's extremely negative, condescending and has an arrogance which doesn't match his performance.
And the sound of his voice does my head in.

Anybody thinks the action to get such serious injury off the field abit slow??

Nah, they won't rush a head clonk like that, they'll assess him thoroughly before they get a stretcher under him. No point having them hanging around, so let the doc do his thing and then come when called i guess.

I think we have had decisions that have influenced us in the past that could be questionable, yes, I never said "Conspiracy" why does this word keep getting brought up.

I believe corruption or biased behavior, either or, exists in the league to a certain extent and I think at some point it has benefitted every team, including us, people can see that as a conspiracy if they wish to but I think that evidence of it in football points it being a legitimate concern.

This is obviously my opinion but one thing I am certain of is that the level of officiating is not good enough, irrespective of my views on corruption.

Jesus Mason has been so unlucky with injuries throughout his career. Missed most of last season scoring a fantastic goal away at Sunderland.

You actually said this. It's pretty obvious what you were implying.

"I would say "Jammy twats" but that was clear the ref evened it up, nothing jammy about it, linesman misses a blatant offside.

I fail to see the point in even watching this league when it's so obvious what happens.

Well obviously not, if we do not win by 5 clear goals then its a conspiracy against us, did you not know this... shame on you.

The whole of the 90s was one big Goddamn conspiracy.

I was implying that I believe it was more than incompetence, that it was the ref evening the game up because of the penalty he has given to Burnley.

The reasons behind that are up in the air but that's my belief, am I not allowed to hold that belief? I am not the one attacking others for having an opinion here am I?

You are free to believe whatever you wish to believe, I am not judging you.

Unless you think that individual referees are fixing matches and placing their own bets, without any help or prompting from anyone else, any accusation of "corruption" logically entails that there is some sort of conspiracy involved.

You seriously couldn't make it up... they are the luckiest team in the PL without doubt! I just don't understand how they get so much good fortune, its beggars belief!

We need to concentrate on us though this season and finish above them!!

It's been like that for years going back to the graham era
