Something for Hull to take heart despite a goal down.. Effective going forward, just let down by the final balls.. Hope the second half they can be more direct and get something.
What did they say?Yeah he definitely seems to know his stuff. Would love for them to stay up after the way Thompson and Merson acted when he was hired.

Oh well, at least Liverpool, Man U and City all dropped points. This weekend could've been worse.
Just gutting about how Arsenal and Chelsea (probably) have come about their three points in the end.
That was a very entertaining read. Pair of gobshites...http://www.football365.com/news/mediawatch-special-merson-thompson-and-marco-silva
They were complete dicks about him. As you'd expect.
The game's outpaced the officiating capabilities. Refs and linesmen need help.
Calling it as I see it. Think they need help. What I'm seeing more and more, is the outcome of so many games decided by the officials. Didn't use to be the case, although we've always given refs crap. The game's so much quicker, and played within so many confined, crowded spaces, with quick critical plays.I disagree - it's the demand for exact, perfect, faultless decisions that has taken the game away from refs. Part of refereeing is opinion, people want the human perspective taken away and an unbreakable set of rules enforced to make things "fair".
It won't, it'll just lead to teams and players trying to find ways to subvert the rules, the game becoming micro managed and it will become a pedantic nightmare. Sure, refs aren't perfect, but do we really want to remove luck, opinion and any sense from refereeing?
If refereeing was done to the numbers by computer, games like us against Chelsea last year, where the ref tries to let a few challenges go because of the occasion or whatever - that would be over, called off before half time. Nah, not for me. I'd rather talk about a poor ref decision than a game ruined by over-officiating any day.

I don't know what the solution is. Just know that they have an impossible job these days. I agree with you about supporting the human aspect of the game; that's why we love the game. But, the game's changed, and the officials, because they don't have the tools to deal with those changes, have more influence on the outcomes of games as a result.
