It's weird that in one post they celebrate how they "did the Spurs at their own ground" but on the occasions they got a spanking "the spurs are cowardly scum" - make your mind up petal, you can't have it both ways!Still giving it large about fighting Spurs fans in '92

This is up there with Krancjar saying "how can you leave after that" (our fans singing) to Modric - bullAccording to one spammers fan (on talksport ) payet's wife told him to stay, telling him where are you ever going to hear 60,000 singing your name......
Did they get an answer? They've never had 60k at West Ham...where are you ever going to hear 60,000 singing your name......

Morning, bring back your Payet shirt to any of the club shops & you will get a new replacement for £25, full details on WHU web site today.
Yeah, the fans are pissed off that their only good player has shafted them, so the club try to shaft them again for a new shirt halfway through the season.
So they end up essentially paying 85 quid for a Snodgrass shirt lol
As much as i hate them i can sympathise with them on Payet. Cant do much as we found out with Berbatov.
He refused to play so guess would accept not being paid.
If i refused to work then they should be in their rights not to pay me.

Bilic said on the same day "he didn't want to play" and "he is refusing to play for us". Which one is the most accurate, who knows?
However he was still training and so had been turning up for work, it really does depend what was in his contract, but I would be surprised if they can claw back all of his January wages if he has been turning up to train. Obviously he would forfeit any appearance fees and potentially could be subjected to fines.
With the Jan window closing date approaching and desperate to return to France I would guess he just paid it to be able to leave, even if they may have been on shaky ground in demanding the wages back.
Hopefully the chuckle brothers and Mrs.Tinpot have fucked up and done something there was no provision for and that they failed to get a written agreement from Payet to forfeit the wages.
All speculation of course, but who knows with these dickheads.
...but there are plenty of ways round this, certainly in the short term. He could easily have claimed to have developed something like a vague abdominal pain or something similar as an excuse to avoid training. It just sounds like he didn't give a shit what the club did.He refused to play so guess would accept not being paid.

He didn't want to play for them in the first place. He signed a new contract weeks before the transfer and West Ham offered a deal he and Marseille could not turn down. Huge wage increase and at the time they were nearly broke. Now they have been taken over and there is more money to spend. It isn't a surprise he wanted to go back knowing there is a chance, and is said to have taken a pay cut (which makes sense given the huge raise in the first place).Their fault for offering him a huge contract AND a loyalty bonus despite him having a history of playing up with other clubs before, I think they mismanaged him and the situation.
But United paid 30mln for a player with nowhere near the publicity of Payet and nearing the end of his contract. As much as i hate them i can sympathise with them on Payet. Cant do much as we found out with Berbatov.
They're after Berbatov now apparently. He's only 36 so he'll be fitter than Andy Carroll.
