Well we either have better players than them who are capable of winning this game with the right amount of effort applied or not?
I mean, taking nothing away from Gent here but if the players applied themselves in the same way they did against Chelsea we wouldn't be sitting here complaining right now because we would be beating them.
It's obvious to anybody, other than a complete optimist with no wiggle room, that when these games roll around, we do apply less effort.
It's either that or Gent are just technically better than us because it's not like they have just been "lucky" we have barely even been in the game again, they have outplayed us all over the park.
Yeh seems to happen to us quite a lot for some reason?

This reminds me of when we beat city then our form turned to wank like now and didn't win a game for nearly 2 months.
Since the high against Chelsea we got fucking lucky against city then struggled to beat boro, next up the limp, Lame efforts at Liverpool and now tonight's installment.
Looks like many or all of the players have been dining out on beating Chelsea and have lost their way I must say it doesn't suprise me.

Have to agree, unfortunately. An absolute shambles in how to improve your squad options.
When our XI are all fit we seem to be firing but once one or two are out the whole balance and cohesion disappears.
Such a shame.

Abolute awful performance, the players should feel embarrassed.
We have been outplayed by a team 8th in the Belgian league - fucking embarrassing.
This is worse than the Arse score last night so those laughing last night, once again Arse have had the last laugh! and will again when they finish above us again.

It's just us underestimating them. Alli too trying to showboat from the first whistle. The players from Gent gave 110 procent, 3 of them have cramps. Way more heart and desire in their performance.
