We have a serious problem with this team and manager, I hope, I am wrong. We better not lose to Fulham.

One of those performances where you feel like nothing has really changed and we haven't come as far as you may have thought. We are still 3rd in the league, but our form in recent weeks is hugely concerning.

Don't worry son, we won't be third for long.

Don't really know what Poch can say to the press after this one. He tried digging them out after Liverpool, and got absolutely not response.

We need the players to get together have a team meeting and for the senior players to call out those not performing or putting a shift in. Sadly with our lot, you can't see that happening. We're all a bit pally.

hate to say i told u so....

but its only half time, and we are just a goal down. all to play in the return leg.

COYS!

Sure but it's papering over the cracks. We have big problems putting in good performances away from home. Even when we win it's cagey and tough to watch.

Know what.. I begin to realise Poch high intensity pressing is overrated.. Every teams seems to be able to do that now..

I was naive to think Gent energy levels will drop.. Apparently no.. On the other hand, we never raised ours..

Reminds me a lot of the England side from the last x amount of years.

Undoubted quality players that are capable of moments of brilliance most of the time, and yet look like 11 strangers thrown together at a moments notice when you most expect a performance.

I just want to shake them all by the throat and wake them from this slow, slack, 'cant-be-bothered' looking mode they are in.

We're better than this.

Always makes me laugh how the opposition players and supporters celebrate like they've won the World Cup whenever they beat us in the Europa league. Enjoy it lads, quite frankly we don't give a shit.

We'll win easily next week, wouldn't surprise me if we hit 4 past them.
Have you been watching us lately?

Well we either have better players than them who are capable of winning this game with the right amount of effort applied or not?

I mean, taking nothing away from Gent here but if the players applied themselves in the same way they did against Chelsea we wouldn't be sitting here complaining right now because we would be beating them.

It's obvious to anybody, other than a complete optimist with no wiggle room, that when these games roll around, we do apply less effort.

It's either that or Gent are just technically better than us because it's not like they have just been "lucky" we have barely even been in the game again, they have outplayed us all over the park.

If you really expect football matches to go according go form and ability then you haven't been watching football long enough. Why do you think the players weren't putting any effort in? Do you think they've just can't be asked to play the match?

Do you not think that the other team have raised their game against us (yet again in this competition) They defended well and kept our players quiet and when they broke they were a threat

I'm not saying we can't play better, we can but no-one can ever accept that we will come up against better teams and teams who will nullify us, it's not as easy as people make out.

Worst scenario, don't rotate, look tired, lose.

Big rotation now against Fulham, as fatigue is now on to many players shoulders.
