Absolutely disgusting performance. No desire shown. The tactics were a disaster. Did Pochettino instruct N'Koudou and Sissoko never to take on their man? Their goalkeeper can rarely have an easier time. There was no creation in anything we did. Spurs should hang their heads in shame. God help us against Fulham.

yeah --- for comparison look at Liverpoo --- 1 player out and they win 1 in 10 games including games against Plymouth and Wolves. Perspective.

u hit the nail on the head..... AWAY! its never easy to play away! Even Barcelona get smashed away. like it or not, first leg of a tie away from home, keep it tight, don't lose by more then a goal, then give yourself a chance in the 2nd leg.

glad we didn't gamble and go for an equalizer, we still have a chance and its not over yet. Think we can do it at Wembley. its time to believe and make Wembley a fort! COYS!

I don't get our attacking play. We had an interchanging creative way with Lamela Eriksen Chadli behind Kane. Nowadays we have two players Alli and Kane barely moving. So easy to stop us.

Not sure wimmer is the answer tbh but I agree he deserves a run in the side until vertongon is fit. I've said it before and I'll say it again dier is not good enough to play in a cb 2 for us, he proves it time and time again

I might be just spouting bullshit but I'm wondering if the wider pitches are a factor. It seems so - the high press gets nullified, we don't have good natural wingers and we lose our shape easily. Contrast to WHL where at the very least we are probing and spend most games in the oppositon half.

That was an awful performance. We look like we don't belong in Europe and I'll be honest maybe it is best if we stay away for a season focus on developing the team the hunger the fucking mentality and just become stronger.

It's not a shock either is it regarding the officials. They are shit in every European game.

The performance was awful but then again I suspect many thought it likely.

Oh well, welcome back Europa league. How I've missed you and all the wonderful performances we've put in over the years.

To be honest, the ref as happens so much in the Europa league was so bad that he alone pretty much killed us. He blew for every little niggle that we committed yet let them get away with murder. Honestly if this is what we have to put up with to remain in the competition I'd rather throw it now.
