On Kane and Dele "Personally think there over rated , we just need to get our s**t sorted"

"I'd have Gerrard and prime Torres over them all day long. But until we sort our defence out we won't finish above them unless we find another suarez of course. Watching their defence and keeper and DM compared to ours is night and day."

Kane has out scored Torres...

They can take whoever they like but those players are either past it or fucking retired. They are such ****s. I'd love to knock em the fuck out.

It's telling that they feel they have to compare them against two of the best players in their recent history rather than anyone in their current team.

Jesus. Some of these fans are so fucking obsessed with spending money that it blinds them from the totally obvious reason as to how Spurs are doing this.

We haven't done this by buying a Bale or a Suarez. Yes we have some good individuals but it is about creating a TEAM of players with superb attitudes who want to achieve something collectively. We are a team, not a bunch of overpaid individuals with big egos and an eye on their next career move or social profile.

I genuinely believe this is the reason opponent fans always think they'll beat us, can't understand why we're ahead of them and/or don't understand how are players are doing so well (when, according to them, they are overrated).

Look at Trippier and Son, they're not even first choice but they have bought into the philosophy, worked hard and it's now all coming together.

Ultimately the manager has made this possible. He's transformed our club, our approach and our mentality. Even the fans are starting to shake it off now.

It's such a great feeling around the club right now, made all the more enjoyable by the traditional 'SKY 4' crying their sweet, salty tears! :sneaky:

Yes, the manager is the most important factor for us. If RM is coming in offering him 7 million, hope Levy goes to 10 to keep him.

They've been managed so well for the last few years, fillinig their team with talented young players for reasonable fees. They are now reaping the rewards.

I'd compare the Son signing with Martial, as they were bought at the same time and play similar roles. Martial used to be compared favourably with Ali on here, but Son has got 10 goals and 4 assists in 1500 mins. That's what is needed from Martial in the future.

Who knew shooting outside the box could be so effective.

Ozil would have played the ball out to Iwobi, who would have tried a return pass. It would get intercepted and the opposition would score on the break.

17 goals in all comps for Son. He's stepped up multiple times with goals when Kane has been out. Really taken a step forward this season.

If Son played for us I reckon he'd polarise opinion just like Nani tbh
He used to do that for Spurs fans, because he can be so wasteful and frustrating at times ... but he just fecking scores and scores and scores and you can't really get too upset when that happens.

Spurs are like a well-oiled machine atm. Excellent form.

As a team they are much better than the the sum of their parts. They have some very good players indeed, but I feel that if you take them out of that team they might not perform as well elsewhere. For me the star of that team is Pochettino, they way he has them performing.

They will surely finish above Arsenal this year.

Just kidding, they're good, who would have thought we would look at the Spurs with awe.

]That little piece of defensive work by Dembele in a match Spurs are up 4-0, tracking the runner for 40m and then shielding the ball out ... that's why he's such an immense CM.

Spurs have now scored 8 league goals in the last 135 league minutes. That's outrageous!
We've scored 8 league goals in the last 135 days

Tottenham remind me of the way united used to be, the games already won before they turn up teams just know they are going to be outplayed and overrun. They are tremendous to watch

75% of the Caf thought Spurs wouldn't even be in the Top 4 this season.

The bitterness on there is very, very real! Long may it continue

50% of them think we are a top side, the other 50% think they are considerably better...

I agree with this wholeheartedly but I also think we need to start beating these teams that are our rivals more regularly to change that view. Until Liverpool at the end of a few hiding from us their fans won't change their view - not that I really care what they think anyway

Courtesy of an arsenal forum...

Won't last long Poch will be looking to leave soon he'll manage one of top clubs in 1-2 season.

Why would he?

Because spurs will be always 3rd tier club and he'll want to win things in the league and in europe.

I think he wants to WIN something with Sp*rs first though

that's difficult to happen yes spurs are improving but they finding themselves up high because we Man Utd and Man City are playing like retards when these teams back playing like before Spurs will be fighting for 4th again. he only chance to win things with spurs are in the cups (fa cup league cup)

Because after this season they are not even gonna compete for the league.
They wont win it either now even if most on here are trying their best thinking they can do it, no idea why. Thought this was Arsenal forum

I didn't rate Spurs to finish even in top 4 this season. With some good managers came to the league you would expect from them to fall down little bit.But they had even better season than last year.Pep,Mourinho and Wenger all flopped this year.

you right but credit to spurs they are playing wonderful stuff this year but when these teams back on top spurs will fall behind.

For the past four or five seasons there have always been two or three big clubs who don't turn up, I don't see why next season'll be any different.
Spurs have a small but legitimate shot at the double and are the most consistent team in the league, no reason at all for Poch to leave. Especially since he's not interested in the Barca job

Think about this - in just 3 seasons, Poch has had those ****ers competing for the title further into the season than Arsene has had his muppets do in 13 years.........
Also, he's doing it again this season when arguably there hasn't been a more competitive EPL season & he's spent a fraction of what Arsene has done.
They might not win the league but they also just might with the right additions, although you'd think the move to Wembley will eff them up big time.
Arsenal forum or not.........

Count that Wenger won't improve anything if he stays at Arsenal. We watch same movie for last 10 years or so.It'll happen again.Pep needs a lot of new players but his game will be same with some better individuals.Mourinho will make some improvements for sure. His second season in every club is quite strong.

Being a Spurs fan is like being in Josef Fritzl's basement. Whenever you see a chink of light you end up getting ****ed.
Can't wait for next season when their world inevitably collapses around them.

Arsene's at a bigger club and no one's taking him seriously anymore. It's what you do with what you got. Poch can make his name at Sp*rs. He'll move on eventually most likely but there's no reason for him to go anywhere now UNLESS one of the really big boys come a calling.

Nah. They have barely been in title race this year. Only now they will have to hope that Chelsea lose and then they have a small chance

Nobody was talking about Wenger mate. No idea why he is brought into the discussion.
Pochy will make nothing at Spurs. He will have to move to bigger club if he wants to be taken seriously.

We need to make it to Last 8 of CL every season too to change the mindset.

Kumb:

We are so far away from competing with the likes of Spurs it's soul destroying.

****ing 'ell, that was magnificent. Terrific shooting from Spurs

It's so sad to see the huge contrast between us and Spurs..
Both on and off the field

There's fight there and self belief, they know they're gonna win and play like winners.
