Spot on. Admittedly we don't have the resources to go out and recruit world beaters to come and sit on the bench a la Chelsea and City, but some upgraded squad players would really make a difference.

Then we'd be better equipped to handle league and CL campaigns IMO.

I'm not at all sure we'll see Lamela again. If that's the case and we can anything remotely near what Sissoko owes us, I'd say Zaha is well within reach. If Lamela does stay, he'd be competing with Eriksen more than out wide if we got Zaha.

I'll be happy with Zaha, Barkley and Seggesson and will probably expect Wimmer and Sissoko to leave.

Probably yes. I'm sure if Son was still at Leverkusen and had 19 goals and 8 assists, people would be creaming all over it like they do with the latest in-fashion French kids.

Someone mentioned Naby Keita from Red Bull Leipzig earlier through the thread and that sprung to mind how many decent, promising and young talents they have at that club, in the positions we need!
Naby Keita - Dembele
Emil Fosberg - Eriksen
Timo Werner - Vincent

Im not saying we should go for them (Well maybe Werner and Keita) im just suprised these three haven't been mentioned as much as they should have. Ideally we would give Vincent another season but that depends on what kind of attacker we may bring in. If we bring in a player like Dolberg I reckon Janssen would stay but if it was Werner I predict he would look for more playing time.

If Son was showing this type of form for Leverkusen, he'd probably end up at a club who can pay him more money and people would be bemoaning that we missed out on him.

I'd love to target Shaw if Mourinho decides he doesn't want him. LB, LW, in a back three, even CM. He's a versatile talent and Poch loves him.

I would say that Mane also did it to us when we played Soton at WHL end last season.
But Son has really developed this year now that he is in his second season at club and more games. Mane has had more time.
Different types of player really but Son can certainly have as big an impact as Mane.

You're missing out the most important thing though.

It's gonna take Mane a whole season to work out the handshakes and we can't afford to wait that long for that to happen.

Thanks, but I'll stick with Son.

Hope we try to sign Tielemans. There is just no better team in EPL for him imo. If he goes to MU Mourinho will waste his talent. Poch is the perfect coach for him. With Toby, Verts and Dembele he should settle fast too.
