I hate the fact that (it seems at least) crappy so called journalists want to dismantle Spurs anytime we start to assemble a great team, or in this case...have a great team.

It feels like this doesn't appear to happen nearly as much to teams like City, Man U, Chelsea etc.

Whether it be Kane to Man U, Dele to Madrid, Alderweireld to Milan, and so on.

I know it's only only our team that experiences this, but we do get it more than most of the other top five teams.

Are we having problems getting him to commit?

I read a random post on Facebook (I know, I know) that he didn't want to sign a new contract and that there are teams in Italy sniffing around.

...and the second I left this thread, saw the "Should we be worried" thread....:hungover:

Let's just say he doesn't wanna sign it, why wouldn't he though?

To be honest I've not even read the article as I have better things to do like twixing things and the journo I'd love to meet as he seems like a ****, most probably because he is.

Many are touting him as the best centre back in the league so I have no doubt there are interested parties.

If he had the chance of doubling/tripling his wages then I guess he would want to leave. It's how it works, we just have to find a replacement that can fit into our system and move on.

In fairness Hazard and Kante are both linked to Real Madrid and Costa is linked all over the place.

DiMarzio is a close personal friend of Conte.

Don't think it's a coincidence that he's stirring shit 3 days before the Semi vs Chelsea.

Chelsea need something to try and chip away at our positivity right now.

Seems to me they're worried about little old Spurs

Sorry, our team bond is stronger than all these rumours I'm very sure.. Our Belgium contingent is one integrity bunch.. Not like hazard or lukaku grade of level. Is damn obvious even when Chadders was with us we had the most lovely Belgiums in our squad.

I'm sure Poch and all the lads had only two things in their minds, FA Cup and then the league.. Let's back them up till the end of season before doubting their contract issues.

I.think City will bid big in the summer for him.

But if we sell any of our key players domestically, well I can't see it.

Imagine selling your key assets to teams finishing below you.

New stadium on the horizon, it's not goings to happen.

If Barca, Real, PSG or Bayern come in an offer insane money for a player who really wants to go, that's a different story.

Don't see anyone else affording any of our key players. Big Clubs in the prem just won't be an option and will be ridiculously priced out.

I would guess this is bollocks and had been pushed out there to destabilise our run in.

Don't give it any time or publicity.

Best defender we've had in my lifetime. I'd put him above King and Campbell. Levy has to make him one of the highest earners at the club. He is a beast at the back. I'd be very upset if we lost him
No way is he better than The King. Ledley had it all. Speed, strength, good on the ball, read the game well, agility. As perfect a defender as you can get, apart from his poor injury record.

Hi, I'm transfer guru Gianluca Di Marzio. You may remember me from transfer stories such as "Kane is going to Napoli", "Spurs are bidding 45 million pounds for Icardi" and "Spurs are trying to get a deal done for Zlatan".
