I don't get some of the negativity after Saturday. It was one game and we were unlucky to lose.

Now people are predicting a complete collapse and its all doom and gloom. We should really be making the most of these times, two years in a row we have been involved in the title run in!

I recall seasons not that long ago when I was anxious about being 4 points off a UEFA cup spot and could we make that up, now we are a 4 point deficit away from being champions! Yes it will be difficult but lets be positive and most of all lets enjoy it. These times don't come around that often. My first game was 85/86 and since then I can only remember being seriously involved in a title race a handful of times. Remember the bad times - make sure you enjoy the good times!

I like your positivity, but we need to stop blaming luck.

We gave away 2-3 very poor goals to concede. That is on our player not doing their jobs, nothing to do with luck.

We were not unlucky to lose to Chelsea.

They were solid and professional defensively and we were not.

Exactly right. Folk need to see the game for what it was - a cracking cup tie between two evenly-matched teams in which we were superb across the middle two quarters, but lacking in both ours and their final quarters (aside from two exquisite moments of football from which we scored). There was nothing lucky about Chelsea's victory.

The situation for the title hasn't changed from this time last week.

The players must keep their heads up and bounce back. All we can do is win our games and hope Chelsea drop four points.

It could be this time next week we are top of the league. Keep the faith.

Poch will correct the minds of the lads, after what happened last season, I am quite sure.. He did not like that; not a single moment of the collapse last season..

Im hoping the players will remember what happened last year and will try not to let it happen again this year, not just for the club but for themselves as well as it won't make them as players look good either if they lose their heads two years on the trot.

At least this weekend we went down fighting in the football sense rather than the literal sense like last year. Gives me more hope we won't implode now.

Judging by all the player threads today, it seems the press is genuinely worried about the title because suddenly this morning every one of our players is out of the door at the earliest opportunity..

It has changed though. All the doubt and vulnerability in the Chelsea camp will be gone. They'll feel 10 feet tall at the moment, and I expect them to steamroller Southampton on Tuesday.

Im clinging on to the fact that Southampton have had a 10 day rest and Chelsea 3 days and were chasing the ball for large periods on Saturday - don't hold out much hope but a draw would be great and would boost us for Wednesday.

This is it for me - momentum is key now and they've just got a boost for the run-in.

I'm not saying they can't/won't slip up and drop points but this looks a bit less likely to me now (and even before i felt it was unlikely).

Fingers crossed we do our bit and keep the pressure on them and at least be there if the unlikely happens.

Perhaps - but they seemed to have recovered from the Palace defeat with that victory over City - only to succumb meekly to Utd shortly after. I suspect it will impact on our players - we just have to see to what extent on Weds. Tbf, we have reacted emphatically to set-backs this year and have no doubt Poch will have them fired up mid-week.

The only way I can see Chelsea not winning on Tuesday is some sort freak early red card, or something of that ilk. We live in hope!

I appreciate that we should be aiming higher but quite an achievement that 7 points will (barring a mathematical freak (GD)), guarantee top 4 this year.

We can only do our job which is a victory against Palace in order to pile on the pressure for Chelsea away at Everton. If we can get the points to 1 or even 2 by Sunday night, the momentum will firmly be with us. CFC would have thrown away a 10 point lead within 6 weeks and that will play on their minds.

Big Sam saying he'll make "big changes" for Weds match. Gotta be good for us...

He said he 'may' make changes. I wouldn't be at all surprised if the only change is Sakho coming back in. They haven't had a midweek game since January so they should be able to cope with Sunday - Wednesday - Saturday. We've played a lot more games than they have this season but it's unlikely Pochettino will make many changes.

Sam has a track record of doing this at the end of seasons though. Basically giving up a game to a side near the top of the table, cos he thinks he can rest players and turn over Burnley a few days after.

I just don't get the logic in this. Who does he think he is, Barcelona????? Palace are not guaranteed to beat Burnley so why throw away a good chance against Spurs at home ? Obviously i'm happy if he drops key players but i just don't see the logic.
