I think it's a good thing, and agree with those saying it will help us when we move to the new stadium.

One thing I would add is that if I wasn't a Spurs fan I'd consider this to be a further devaluing of the national stadium. It used to be a special venue you'd only get to experience in cup finals, England international games, and Live Aid. Now it's used more than Karen Brady's putrid snatch.

He has a vagina?

Playing every game in a stadium will be much easier for the boys than playing the odd game every few weeks. I think there'll be so,e adjusting and we might have a slow start but this side should be able to make anywhere a fortress

I actually think playing in such a huge stadium will help us bed in to NWHL the season after. The atmosphere in Wembley is hit and miss largely because of its size, so I think when we move to our new stadium for the 18/19 season it'll seem a bit smaller and the atmosphere inside will be unreal.

Does that make sense?

One of the problems with Wembley is the atmosphere due to the lack of a kop end meaning families can get mixed in amongst, shall we say the more vocal fans. As I understand it DL et al have had the new WHL designed with this in mind and I believe the atmosphere will be incredible

Well what it means is that for once they will actually be able to play at Wembley as there is fuck all chance of them playing there otherwise.

Well they'll be able to use it when they knock the Boleyn down and build their new super duper stadium. Oh.. hang on!!!?!!

I know why they're doing it, but I very, very strongly disagree with the club's "Finale" messaging on this. If you're going to use a French phrase, make it "Au revoir", because we're not going anywhere. We're merely reconfiguring the stands at WHL, something we've done regularly over 100 years +.

I guess it's a Ship of Thesus paradox, but for me any suggestion we're leaving WHL just doesn't stack up.

I don't think the club's said "we are leaving" White Hart Lane the place. It's being framed as a goodbye to the actual stadium building itself, which is obviously also known as WHL.

Sure there is an element of putting full stop over it in order for the naming rights deal to kick next year, but so far it looks like they are going
to handle it classily - IE no black cabs on the pitch like at West Ham.

As Wembley will be our stadium for next season, with Spurs paying sizeable fees for its use, I believe the size of the pitch will be marginally reduced in size. More importantly the spurs groundsmen will work with the Wembley guys to alter the length of grass to reflect the current Spurs pitch which lends itself to faster pace football. I'm sure both these aspects, a full preseason and regular games will present quite a different picture to our experience this year.

Am I the only one who's not a fan of 'The Lane'. Always White Hart Lane to me. I'd buy half of this Spurs toot if it was White Hart Lane on them.

Any news on season ticket and renewals? We are normally asked to renew by about the second week of may but not heard or received anything

Is this itk or just speculation?

There is a lot of people sayibg how we will be ok, and we will egt used to it, my biggest concern is the fact every single team that rocks up will look at it like their cup final, and smaller teams will see it as maybe their one chance to play at Wembley. This is going to be a tough season, if we do well then we will have earned it bu the end thats for sure

Have you all seen this bit?

SEAT SALES AND STADIUM ITEMS
Season Ticket Holders will receive an email next week about the opportunity to purchase their very own seat from the Lane and we have organised the donation of a number of other items from within the stadium to local sports clubs and community causes.

I know it's hard until things actually change but we all need to snap out of this "oh no, not Wembley, we're shit there" mindset. Yes we've not got a good record there but it's highly skewed if you look at the quality of sides we've played there recently. Already got loads of shit from Arsenal fans saying how badly we are gonna do etc.

They've played Reading, Wigan, Hull, Villa and City there in the last 5, needing extra time 3 times.

Yes we haven't been at our best there but we have been unlucky on occasions and the size of the pitch shouldn't be an issue either. Aren't pitch sizes supposed to be standardised now anyway (unless the dimensions won't allow)

Great its only one season too. Let's win the league and send off the old girl on a high

Yeah, how many times have we played sides there that we were favourites to beat? Everyone was laughing at us for losing against Monaco and they're in the semifinals now. Hopefully we'll get an easier start next season and play one of the promoted side's in the first game and can build from there.

i think we are capable of beating any team as long as we play our best XI, did we ever play our best team in wembley this season?
